Tickled the ol' nostalgia before new Galactic Racer comes out, but hoo boy does this game show its age these days.. thank goodness for community patches.
Esta versão tá cheia de bugs, mas o fator nostalgia melhora a experiência. Nada melhor do que voltar a correr em Oovo IV. Se for jogar com um controle, configure direitinho antes de qualquer corrida pra não ter de correr com o podracer inclinado ou com a câmera invertida.

Диск с этой игрой появился у меня задолго до появления компьютера. Мамин коллега подарил мне его, и я носил его с собой в компьютерный клуб, чтобы там поиграть. Золотые были времена. Игру сложно оценивать сейчас, потому что в ней совершенно квадратная графика, но ощущение скорости никуда не делось - это всё такие же сумасшедшие гонки, где неумение вовремя завернуть отрывает от твоего транспорта турбины и разрывает тебя на куски. Игра по механике в чем-то напоминает одну из старых частей NFS, где ты покупал убитые тачки, чинил и так зарабатывал. Здесь с тем же успехом покупаются битые запчасти на свалке, и пока ты катаешься - твои дроиды восстанавливают этот хлам до идеального состояния. Так что если какая-то трасса оказалась сложной - через несколько апгрейдов ты станешь быстрее. 10 эль чуба нанайя из 10

Overall 8/10. It's got some age, but its also got grit. for a game that is pushing 27 years old right now. It surprisingly enough, outweighs and out plays even modern racing games. the bad: windows 11 hates it, windows 10 loves it on compatibility mode. God forbid you skip a cut scene in compatibility mode. (specifically in w10, this is always a crash causer) The lovely: Everything else in this game is so polished it somehow manages to hold up in an ocean of racing games and manages to still be fast, fun, engaging, replayable and lastly, CHEAP AS ALL HELL
