I am a 4/mo baby, probably one of the youngest people playing this game. I am an only child to my parents, who are both in their 30s now. My dad got this game for Christmas from his brother, so we installed it on his computer and he started playing. By the end of the week he had 24 hours on this game. This was horrible for me, as it was already hard for me to find ways to spend time with my dad, as he is always out with his friends or just, watching Fox News. So i decided to make a Steam account and get this game to see if I could maybe play alongside him . loaded into the game, made my character and started playing but I was stuck on what you were supposed to do. I asked my dad for help and he helped me. Loved it as it was the best time had spent with my dad since my mom had died. This game has ever since brought me and my dad closer again and now we actually spend time together outside the house together as well. This game reminded me that there's fun to be had in everything, and I cant wait to make future memories with my dad.
Just said no because there is no middle option. The game works fine single player, multiplayer is an entirely different story. I can play a 2v2 multiplayer game with a host who is like 10 miles away from me with the same ISP and the lag and connectivity issues are severe. The game crashed for me once and activated my Windows Defender program. For some strange reason though, Battlefront 1 works perfectly fine with multiplayer.
Wait for a sale. I honestly feel these are at max worth $2 a piece. This is the better of the 2 in nearly everyway but vehicles during ground mission. I can't recommend this game to a modern audience, it just objectively isn't very good compared to modern games. IF YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED BEFORE: I don't recommend buying or playing this game. This game was cool for its time, but anymore I don't think it is anything special. There are just better options now (especially for PC) than this jank. IF YOU HAVE PLAYED BEFORE : Of course, spend $5 for some nostalgia. You'll definitely find fun in this, but good lord are there a ton of issues that I didn't remember. The friendly AI is absolute trash compared to enemy AI. The targeting for enemy AI is to ignore all other troops but you. This would be fine if your allies could do anything besides stand still and not shoot anyone. Don't get me wrong, I had a good time because it brought up fond memories. But most everything in the game is worse than you remember and the weapons are especially awful.
Absolute banger. Nothing else on the market quite like it. Arguably a significant improvement from the first game in terms of pacing and the smootheness of the gameplay, albeit at the expense of factions more or less being re-skins of each other. The maps and factions are more balanced than in Battlefront I, though often still heavily favor one side over the other. The game shows its age but holds itself up quite well for a retro game; I am partial to the lack of microtransactions and the heavier emphasis on strategic gameplay in Conquest mode in contrast to the typical "shoot x number of enemies" gameplay that underwhelms me in most shooters. The online community is more alive and approachable than the Battlefront I community in my experience. With the game being as dated as it is, whether or not shots hit at all in online gameplay is a mix of skill, fortune, and ping which takes some getting used to. The modding community also grants loads of free content for the game.
Si este juego tendria mejores graficas, seria mil veces mejor que los battlefronts nuevos en mi opinion.
Pretty good given the age of the game.
Just like the simulations
fun game
This is the game of all games
Легендарная игра, как же я кайфовал, когда играл в нее в 2012
