Grew up with this game on PS2 and when I picked this up I saw the UI isn't even CLOSE to what I am used to. There is a mod that completely fixed this + controller support so I can say without a doubt that this is the best version of this game if you include the mod support. 9/10 this game is still amazing it isn't just nostalgia. UPDATE: No splitscreen/Xbox DLC like the console version but other than that this is amazing way to play this game.

I really loved this game growing up. That being said, other than nostalgia there is no point in not playing the modern version. The game is difficult to keep running efficiently and is plagued with issues. Simply having any overlays causes random black screens when playing. I can't in good faith recommend the game for anything other than nostalgia.
Binding Arbitration. We can't even enjoy old games without soulless suits ruining it. Take your money elsewhere or find an old copy or something else to play.
