This games a classic!
Peak game, throwback to when I was a little kid on my ps2
NOSTALGIC FUN.!
9/10 Only thing holding it back is the lower graphics, confusing ways to be able to use mods and a lot of the weapons and starfighters are pretty inaccurate to how they are in the lore (V-wing as the bomber but the ARC-170 as the standard fighter is the most notable example along with pretty lazy reload animations for blasters which idk if they even need to reload or not) SWBF2 isn't their to be 100% accurate nor the most pretty, it's their to be one of the most replayable Star Wars video game out their and it does that wonderfully well. The Classes are mostly balanced outside of the CIS and more importantly you can freely hop in and out of vehicles like in Halo which is a insane quality of life feature you don't get to see in a lot of videogames sadly. While multiplayer is a bit laggy the fact we even got multiplayer support after all the years is a HUGE W but otherwise I'd treat this mostly as a singleplayer game like Star Wars Empire at War. Even to someone who is not familiar with Star Wars outside of showing them the main 6 movies this is probably one of the best games you could introduce them into the genre outside of Republic Commando itself but unlike Republic Commando it has more replayability because of stuff like Galactic Conquest and multiplayer which Republic Commando lacks sadly. If your a Star Wars fan this game is a must whether your more into the Galactic Civil War period or the Clone Wars this game has it all, even for all you Old Republic fans the mods got you covered so long as you can put up with the bureaucracy of learning how the hell to install them.
Masterpiece ....
I have played this game on my psp, yet i did not know it existed on steam until now.
