About
Hop into the driver's seat of your rocket-powered big rig as you haul cargo, scavenge for salvage and interact with an eclectic cast of star-hopping truckers in this Americana-infused journey on the ultimate open road - space!

Hi, this is Monster and Monster. Star Trucker is our tiny indie team's passion project, and we’re committed to making it the best intergalactic trucking game we can. By listening to the community, we’re working hard to improve the experience with every update. So buckle up and join us for the long haul!

Your truck is not a starship. We’ve taken typical vehicular controls then made sure zero-g momentum played a big part in maneuvers. The result is a unique driving experience that’s easy to pick up yet hard to master!
Cruise the hyper highways, taking on a variety of jobs such as fuel hungry long hauls and hazardous drop-offs to earn cash and unlock new content.
And don't forget to monitor the CB radio for chatter from fellow truckers; it's a fantastic way to uncover side gigs and stay updated on galactic gossip.

Keeping your rig runnin’ isn’t always easy. You’ll need to keep your core systems online, gravity compensator spinnin’ and hull patched to prevent your cab from leaking lung juice.
Be sure to make pre-trip shop stops for replacement parts, and consider upgrading your truck at a local garage. These improvements are vital for safely navigating volatile sectors and ensuring timely deliveries.

Use the galactic map to plan your journey and warp jumps, while keeping an eye on your fuel reserves and power levels.
Once your route is set, kick back, crank up the cab hi-fi and cruise to a selection of original songs covering starburst blues, galactic rock and asteroid infused americana. The open road is waiting!

Reviews

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

fun game tho the feul gets spend fast and items don't restock in the shops that fast either to profit from trades, but why isnt there a folder in our computer system that allows us to have some widescreen pictures be on the "your add here" bilboards?
Мне понравилось. Затягивает. Интересно посмотреть что за следующим поворотом.
i like it! the truck shaped spaceship is funny. i know its part of the game, but if this was real life, i think we'd at least move all the debris out of major traffic lanes.
muito bom
I'd Take this Job
First off, the "mostly positive" reviews this game's got make no sense. Star Trucker is exactly what you expect it to be: Euro Truck Simulator in space. It totally delivers on it's promise, and the multiple claims by other reviewers that it's buggy are BS (I got only 3 minor and easily-resolved ones in over 40 hours playing). As to the gameplay itself: You play as "El Jay," an illegal Mexican space-truck driver with schizophrenia. I say "Mexican" because of his name; "illegal" because I've never seen his driver license in the game and because there's no way a Mexican would ever be allowed to haul cargo across the Milky AMERICA; and I believe he's "schizophrenic" because he keeps hearing voices on the radio that, supposedly, comes from other trucks who you never get to actually see. Your truck is your home, with all the comforts you could ever wish for: a seat, windows, a bed that you never, ever use, a space suit for EVAs, shelves for trading-goods, and even a
driving-whiskey stash
(that you eventually unlock). There's no toilet (because, as everyone knows, no such thing is needed in space) but you do get to customize the interior and exterior looks of your Truck by either purchasing new options or unlocking them via "Ventures" (optional quests). Your job is, obviously, to haul cargo across space. But you also get to trade goods, which is actually what earns you the most money. Get the best hauling deals available, upgrade your skills, buy low, sell high, and you'll be rich in no time. Unlike Euro Truck Simulator, Star Trucker is more "gamey" as you have a series of main quests to complete (given by those misterious voices coming from "the radio"). So there's an actual story in it, and clear objectives to achieve. But you can just keep truckin' around, if you want. Challenges in the game rely on navigating a few different "sector hazards." More of them are revealed as the game progresses, so I won't spoil it. But, right off the bat, you'll already have to deal with the worst one: debris clouds. Have you ever used a chemical toilet that had been rolled and spun around while full? I have (true story, sadly). I managed to stay inside it, with the door closed, for about 10 seconds before I finally decided I wouldn't hazard pulling my d!ck out in such a hostile and terrifying environment. I'm quite convinced I broke some kind of world record there, by staying inside for so long. Anyway, navigating most sectors in Space Trucker is just like that: every now and then you find yourself in the middle of a sh!t storm, and then you gotta be more careful than you ever were before in your life because, if you touch anything, you're f*cked. The slightest hit will damage your truck, the trailer you're hauling, and the merchandise inside it. The penalties for damaging any/all of it are actually not too high but, you know... you're a professional. It's mainly your ethics that do not allow you to go around hitting everything in your way. Also, any bump sets off a loud "BEEEEP!" and spins your cabin around, so it kinda feels like you just crashed for real. It's very traumatic. If you bang your truck too hard, you'll need to jump into your space suit and go outside to do some repairs. But I only had to do that once in the entire game (in the tutorial, and never again). As far as maintenance goes, you'll mainly need to replace Air Filters, Batteries and UCCs (I forget what the acronym means; it's some circuit boards). If you don't, sh!t stops working and everything falls apart. At first, keeping everything running is difficult, because you can't afford to buy the longer-lasting batteries and UCCs. But once you have enough money to do so, they last quite a while, so you only have to bother replacing stuff like once every 3 or 4 hours or so (real time). On top of hauling cargo, trading goods, doing quests and avoiding hazards, you can also find and collect Salvage. These are a bunch of abandoned trading goods that spawn randomly in space, which you can grab for free and sell at will. Trading goods must be manually collected from your truck's decompression chamber and stored in your cargo hold's shelves. Initially it seems like that's a chore, but you eventually realize there's some eerie satisfaction in seeing stuff neatly stacked there. It's like opening your fridge and seeing it filled top-to-bottom with beer -- you just know that no matter what happens, or how hard you f*ck up, everything is going to be OK. Other than that, you also need to refuel your truck every once in a while, to stop for a weighing when requested, and to pay fines if you're caught speeding on highways or carrying contraband. Finally, it's worth mentioning that that you have to manually sound your horn, check your truck's monitors, pull the gate-jump lever, set the temperature in the cabin, etc., which is very cool. It eventually feels like you have mastered your environment, becoming a real star trucker. Seriously, I can now sound my horn on the ceiling while driving with my shutters closed through a dense debris cloud while listening to one radio and answering the voices-in-my-head on the other. Anything that shows up in my way gets run over, but I can do it. Putting it shortly: If you've played truck simulators before, you'll probably like Star Trucker. There's more to do/unlock/upgrade in it than in the other games I'm personally familiar with in the genre, and the game's "chores" are rather satisfying to do. If you haven't played any such game, you should probably give this one a go anyway, because there's something oddly rewarding in simply working for money (something only a videogame can provide you with, because real-life paychecks are deeply depressing). I, myself, initially thought, "There's no F'ing way I'm going to enjoy this kind of game," and yet here I am, having sunk over 40 hours into this one.
太空版欧卡,游戏还是挺有创意的,希望后续能开发更多玩法
