About
Hop into the driver's seat of your rocket-powered big rig as you haul cargo, scavenge for salvage and interact with an eclectic cast of star-hopping truckers in this Americana-infused journey on the ultimate open road - space!

Hi, this is Monster and Monster. Star Trucker is our tiny indie team's passion project, and we’re committed to making it the best intergalactic trucking game we can. By listening to the community, we’re working hard to improve the experience with every update. So buckle up and join us for the long haul!

Your truck is not a starship. We’ve taken typical vehicular controls then made sure zero-g momentum played a big part in maneuvers. The result is a unique driving experience that’s easy to pick up yet hard to master!
Cruise the hyper highways, taking on a variety of jobs such as fuel hungry long hauls and hazardous drop-offs to earn cash and unlock new content.
And don't forget to monitor the CB radio for chatter from fellow truckers; it's a fantastic way to uncover side gigs and stay updated on galactic gossip.

Keeping your rig runnin’ isn’t always easy. You’ll need to keep your core systems online, gravity compensator spinnin’ and hull patched to prevent your cab from leaking lung juice.
Be sure to make pre-trip shop stops for replacement parts, and consider upgrading your truck at a local garage. These improvements are vital for safely navigating volatile sectors and ensuring timely deliveries.

Use the galactic map to plan your journey and warp jumps, while keeping an eye on your fuel reserves and power levels.
Once your route is set, kick back, crank up the cab hi-fi and cruise to a selection of original songs covering starburst blues, galactic rock and asteroid infused americana. The open road is waiting!

Love the game just wish there was more to the end game other then simple repetitive missions could have had more unique missions then it did but was amazing non the less
I've really got into this game and am currently loving it! I played a lot of Euro Truck and American Truck in the past, this is nothing like that, I personally find this much more enjoyable and I enjoy the levels of micromanagement. Ok, you sacrifice realism (you're a truck in space first of all..), there's no gear changes or indicators or navigating junctions. Other truck sims had me driving on long stretches of road with rare changes in scenery, stopping for gas or having a sleep, and occasionally something happens that requires a trip to the garage. With Star Trucker I'm navigating from open space to asteroid belts to electrical storms to solar flares and back again! I still stop for gas, but I now scan the map for the cheapest price (which changes) and plan my route accordingly. The galaxy is broken up into systems that require a jump gate to move between them, they are relatively short trips to get across but they don't feel repetitive, more like stopping at a stop light before you can continue. If you're hoping for long cruising on the freeway this probably won't scratch that itch, this feels a bit slower, carefully make your way through without damaging your cargo. There are "highways" where you can put your foot down but these are fairly short and basically represent a safe route as you can usually rely on them being free of space debris (no guarantees). You're totally free to blaze your own trail outside of the space lanes, just be warned it can get very clustered with space debris. Each of your systems requires batteries, ECU chips, or filters that you need to keep an eye on. These can be purchased from the shops or found floating in space, I like this extra managing aspect and I feel like if you could recharge them it would be a pretty redundant game mechanic. Being able to put on a suit and leave the truck is also pretty great, you can find the batteries, ECU chips or filters I mentioned but also all kinds of goodies that can be traded or sold to various systems that have a demand for them. There's undoubtedly more detailed trading sims out there but since I was just expecting trucking this was a welcome addition. This does also add weight to your truck which can lead to fines at weigh stations if you get called to weigh in. I remember ETS and ATS having weigh stations, but it was mainly just an annoyance that had no consequence on the actual game. Every control in your truck is usable and has some bearing on the game; headlights, roof lights, side lights, mirror monitors, heaters, thrusters, choke, circuit breakers etc.. I love that level of interaction and makes the place feel alive and cozy like a little apartment in space. They can also really help you through the different systems that all have their own climate, ambience and dangers. Top marks from me for the soundtrack as well, gives me constant Firefly and Cowboy Bebop vibes the whole time! Now I love sci-fi and I'm probably biased, but I personally enjoy this much more than ETS or ATS. If you're hung up on realism and realistic trucking then trucks in space may not be for you.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

3D space. long haul trucking, IN SPACE! Picking up and dropping off. interesting "maps" to fly thru with differing environments and hazards. plan for the trip or get stuck out in the void. there is a loot system. find stuff in the void, use/sell it. the Rig has systems that have parts that wear out and must be replaced from time to time. the Rig can be upgraded for IN Game - Earned Money. Most cosmetics are purchasable with IN-Game Money. there are a few DLCs that have cool Sh*t. I like to fly in space. kinda scratches the itch, in a way... that is all i got.
It's stylistic, just kind of not my cup of tea. I don't like how the truck handles, and I didn't see a way to make it better. You have to really like big rigs to play this, beyond that I do think quite a bit of effort and polish went into the design of the game.
Needs a few tweeks here and there but hopefully this comes with future support/updates but overall a fun and super chilled game
Absolutely love this game. Such a fun game to play after a long day of work. Just finished the full story recently and loved every bit of it. Each job had its own unique challenge and love the voice actors for each one. The concept of trucking in space makes a different kind of challenge, with no friction slowing you down and yet you can feel the weight of each load. There's several different setting to either make it easy or harder to play so you can test your skills or just relax in space without a worry in the world 10/10 game. If I could back and do it all over again without remembering anything I would. Can't wait to see what the game has to offer in the future
It's challenging and engaging at just the right level. If you like to feel like an off brand Han Solo, this is the perfect game for you.
I love you star trucker..,.,,
Drive around and pray to space god that you can stop in time because that rock is way closer than it looks
