Devs gave up on game just months after release. Shameful. We should have been given refunds.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Ripoff abandonware, the new (?) Paradox way.
This was a massive disappointment, I love Star Trek, I love Stellaris, and the two things combined should be amazing but... Oh bloody hell... This is not worth the reduced price it has, spend a little more, get Stellaris, and play the Star Trek New Horizons mod, it is made by people who actually care about the universe, the lore and are capable of coming up with more than just 5 names for a starship.
infinite wasted potential. So many DLC opportunities that would have fit the paradox model perfectly, and they screwed it up, go look to Stelaris total conversions for a better version, hell, they have probably already ported this game to stelaris.
Game has been abandoned by dev's not even 6 months post-release. It's in a somewhat playable state but definitely not worth the current $30 price.
Buggy game mechanics, with little playthrough options outside of the main story line. Thought it would be a nice Star Trek RPG/Strategy game to play but it is not worth even the discounted prices.
All you need to know about this game is that Paradox, a company infamous for DLC bloat, has not pushed for any actual gameplay DLC since it was released in 2023. Even while Stellaris (which Star Trek: Infinite is an inferior reskin of) has averaged 3-4 dlc per year. There are mods for the original Stellaris game that do Star Trek better than this official version.
Novel at first, but the game has many bugs and has been abandoned in development.
I want my money back!
