About
SSTWL: Sector Breach is a point and click survival-horror game revolving the characters and world created by Liam Vickers throughout the “Scary Story Time With Liam” YouTube channel.
Drink your coffee, recover the files, and fend off everything that goes bump in the night. It’s only six hours, what’s the worst that could happen? It’s not like the fate of the universe is at stake, right?
As a FNaF-like, Sector Breach borrows many core aspects of those games mechanics; Sit in your office, watch cameras, close doors, etc. But of course, it’s not that simple.
Use the camera lights to keep the monsters blind and disoriented, just don’t flash the wrong one. Keep your head on a swivel, don’t let what’s in the monitor distract you from what’s in your doorway. Most importantly, recover the Data Files. They are why you are here. The fate of humanity depends upon it.
The game’s story is designed to not only tie into established lore and plot lines of the SSTWL channel, but also act as a way for new fans to jump into the lore of everyone’s favorite niche internet creepypasta author.
Sector Breach is a love letter to all the incredible stories Liam Vickers has written, and the amazing community which has continued to flourish around them even all these years later. <3

I knew nothing about SSTWL going in, but this one caught my eye and I'm glad it did. If you use Itch.io for indie horror games, you've probably noticed that there are numerous low effort fnaf-likes that seem to come out every day. This is not one of them. SSTWL Sector Breach feels like a lovingly crafted experience that absolutely does justice to its inspirations. Nothing generic or cookie cutter about it. Yes, it plays very similarly to fnaf, but it's definitely its own game with mechanics that you'll have to play with to figure out. Once you start to learn the patterns and find your rhythm, it becomes very rewarding to play through. Can't recommend it enough. And for free? C'mon, son... Give it a shot please! This game is so fire. Best game ever....this is totally not Cold's VA on her dad's account...
Fantastic game made by fantastic people. play the game and then check out SSTWL :)
The game is full of love for SSTWL story and characters. Even though i barely knew anything about the story, it did a great job explaining itself and making me interested in the original. Malie is so cute :3
An amazing tribute to the SSTWL community with great voice acting, unique art style, and impactful sound effects and music. The story mode can be completed without much difficultly and provides enough context to be consumed standalone while leaving lots of unanswered questions you can explore in the source material. The max mode is challenging but reasonable because of the unique mechanics of each character and their audio ques.
New SSTWL content? In this day and age?! Don't mind if I do! A lot of problems I have with the "sit-and-survive" genre is that after a certain point, it's possible to beat those kind of games while ignoring half the mechanics and cameras. This is mostly because those game's difficulty and progression basically require you to do that. This is not one of those games, in fact it's the opposite. Thanks to how the enemies synergize with each other, you need to make full use of what the game teaches you in order to survive. You're demanded to stay aware at all times, lest you perish
(this is especially true on 4/20 mode).
I've never really written serious reviews like this before, but I like SSTWL, and this game is the perfect love letter to Liam Vickers and the community he's built over the years.
holy peak
LOVED IT!!!!! THE DEVS DID SUCH A GOOD JOB!!! Everyone else too! The Artists and VA's!
As a first look back into this style of game, this was very well done! I sa ythat having gone into this not really knowing much on SSTWL. It's short and sweet, beatable in an afternoon or two, and it really does take on an atmosphere fitting of the lore. Also props to the Devs VAs hanging out in the discord along with the rest of the community, this fan project is worth getting into!
