It's amazing how fast we went from not being a squirrel to being a squirrel. The closet game to this I have is Big City Little Kitty, but Squirreled Away adds Mine Craft to that equation. It's Zen Guru meditation, in the trees. Sometimes you meditate on crafting. Sometimes you meditate on nothing. Pretty chill.
Played this with my s/o and we had a blast! It's such a cute game, especially if you have someone to play it with. We took just under eight hours to 100% it, and that was while taking things at a pretty leisurely pace The only shame about it is that the achievements are bugged, so both of us should have 100% completed them but sadly couldn't do so without probably having to replay the whole thing from start to end again
emotes, chat is what i like bulles is what i don't like!
NICE
Fun. Really.
I am a firm believer that $1 spent on a game should equal 1hr of in game fun. The hubby and I bought this game on sale for $8.99 and managed to 100% it in about 6 hours.. That being said it was a lot of fun, exploring, crafting, building, trolling to dog. We had a lot of good times, just wish the game was a little longer or had more areas to explore. Solid game though.
It is really adorable and a fun little journey as a squirrel. It is not that advanced or complicated, and it is quite forgiving if you die. So if you want a chill game, and just build a squirrel heaven, there is a lot of options. It is really friendly for new gamers or children. I kinda wish the world was bigger and that there was more to explore, but it is a fine little gem. It might not be to exciting if you want more stuff to happen. But you can probably waste a lot more time with this. I have done a bit of multiplayer and solo, so not done with the solo playthrough. I will probably have some more fun with it on my own. It is a great multiplayer experience as well.

Great fun and relaxing game. Is very short however, not a lot of craftables as you would imagine. The Tele-Porter is great and greatly animated but it's need of use is low. There are also cannons dotted about pointed back towards earlier areas, one would think that this would be like a launch to send you back quickly, but no it's nothing. We found that making a house is pretty pointless, you just need chests and workbenches, as is making multiple homes, one looks great but I don't see the point out of maybe roleplay purposes? It feels like an extended demo rather than a fully fledged game. Like I made the glider at the end of the game, same for the teleporter, but you easily get around without it when you can run fast and climb most things to parkour to your heart's content. I love the theme and the building and all of it but it just feels limited, like there should be MORE areas. The game is greatly animated and graphic style is awesome. I didn't see a reason to start fishing other than getting achievements. An example of me and my friend's gameplay - he made our house and made it look all nice, meanwhile I explored and ended up completing the game, he didn't even make it out of the zone around the home tree. I don't feel like I rushed the game, if anything, it felt like I was playing single player, like there was no multiplayer scaling of requirements like quest objectives or materials needed. There is a slot for flight? it defaults to a jetpack placeholder image (my friend was like omg there's a jetpack in this??) but there's only ever 1 flight tool. Same for boots. It feels like a lot was intended but just not included. It's a shame because it's a nice theme and direction, but it just ends before it starts. Also as a note - the game lets you continue after credits roll, so that's a bonus. I can only imagine how fast 4 players playing this will finish this, pretty sure I'm not superhuman to finish it already. Don't trust my hours played, I fall asleep or end up waiting for people to get online, there is a couple of hours of content max in this game. I hope these people make more games but make them filled out and lengthier because the work put into this is very well done. Also each player will need to "scan" new items to get the crafting recipes, this isn't shared. Best way I can describe it - it just feels limited, you are left feeling, where is the rest? I don't recommend playing it with friends, not because it's bad, it's just that it's basically a single player game. It had a lot of potential to be more, but it never reaches it and takes the easy way out. I dunno, play it and you might understand what I say. Nice experience though.
