Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.57/day in the week to Sep 3 → 4.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
And just like that, I’m 6 again! A faithful remake.
The games levels have remained faithful to the original trilogy. One thing that was really annoying to deal with is that you periodically get stuck running in place, or are unable to move unless you jump to reset your position on the floor. It wasn't a deal breaker, but this problem is intensified on any levels where ice is present. As a whole, I think the game is worth playing.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 20: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I feel like they released a game then didn't balance it when there were issues with the gameplay. The gulp battle is, in short, insane. You can find plenty of threads talking about conspiracy theories that the game was made with difficulty levels originally, and somehow this boss was left on some kind of harder mode. I doubt that's true, but it needs some balancing. It's very different than the original, and after spending 20 lives on the thing, and feeling like it fires the orbs like it's psychic or something, it feels like this game wasn't tested properly or feedback was ignored, because while it's a boss fight you eventually beat, difficulty spikes like this, grinding what felt like a constant progression speed to a complete halt, just feels like it needs to go back in the oven. I wouldn't have even minded it if the rest of the game had similar difficulty, and was sort of "spyro grown up" but it just feels completely out of nowhere. I thought I was going crazy until I read all the talk about it.
Uma verdadeira viagem no tempo direto para a minha infância! 💜 Spyro the Dragon foi um dos primeiríssimos jogos que joguei no meu velho PS1, e poder reviver essa jornada agora na Steam é uma sensação indescritível. A Toys for Bob fez um trabalho impecável neste remake. 🐉✨
Spyro is my childhood, and now he can be my adulthood. Thank you so much TFB for bringing him back to life <3

Grafik super, Gameplay manchmal schwierig bei diversen Minispielen. Da lässt die Steuerung zu wünschen übrig. Auf jeden Fall sehr nostalgisch. Im Sale das Geld auf jeden Fall wert.
Game runs fine, but you'll want to keep it at 60fps to avoid any issues with Spyro sliding for no reason, getting stuck on nothing, and the speed jumps not working properly. Most unfortunate, but it is what it is. A simple remedy. I've tried having it above 60fps at times and something would crop up. Some people switch back to 120fps when they get past certain things, but who the hell wants to keep popping the menu up to constantly switch back and forth? The game is a blast.
