Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 13 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Spy Alliance is a distinctive cooperative FMV adventure built around the idea that two players can create a more memorable story when neither person has complete control over what happens. Developed and published by ALT Lab, the game was released in August 2024 and is designed primarily for two people playing together online. Rather than focusing on complicated combat or demanding character progression, it uses interactive storytelling, branching choices, QTE sequences, and cooperative puzzles to encourage communication between the participants. Friends and couples are particularly suited to the experience because much of its entertainment comes from seeing whether two people cooperate naturally, disagree over important decisions, or deliberately make life difficult for one another. The story gives the players different identities, with one assuming the role of a secret agent and the other portraying a Hongmen fighter. They encounter each other during a period of conflict involving divisions within the anti-Japanese resistance and personal losses that have affected both characters. Because neither initially understands the other's true identity or intentions, their relationship begins with suspicion. The arrival of increasingly dangerous situations gradually forces them to work together. This creates an appealing mixture of cooperation and uncertainty, as the players must decide whether to trust each other while navigating situations that can also encourage rivalry, deception, and playful emotional tension. Choice is the central mechanic of Spy Alliance. The decisions of both players collectively determine the direction of the narrative, with the game featuring more than a hundred possible branching paths. This structure is particularly effective because decisions are not simply private selections made by one protagonist. Two real players bring different personalities and instincts into the experience, meaning even straightforward situations can become entertaining discussions or disagreements. One person might prefer caution while the other chooses an aggressive approach, and the resulting compromise or conflict becomes part of the game's appeal. Replaying the story with different decisions can consequently reveal alternative developments while also showing how differently two participants respond to the same situations. The additional gameplay mechanics are deliberately straightforward. QTE sequences provide moments of urgency, while cooperative puzzles require the participants to coordinate rather than demonstrate exceptional individual skill. ALT Lab clearly designed the game to be approachable even when the two players have different levels of gaming experience. This makes Spy Alliance accessible as a social activity, but it also establishes one of its limitations. Players expecting deep strategy, challenging puzzles, extensive RPG systems, or mechanically sophisticated action may find the gameplay rather light. The interactive elements exist mainly to support the relationship between the players instead of becoming the primary attraction themselves. Its compact duration reinforces that approach. A two-player playthrough is intended to take approximately 30 to 40 minutes, while exploring the broader collection of content can require around 90 minutes. The male and female protagonists receive individual story material in addition to sections involving direct cooperation. Such brevity makes Spy Alliance convenient for a casual evening session and encourages experimentation with alternative choices. At the same time, the limited running time restricts how extensively the characters, historical setting, relationships, and dramatic conflicts can be developed. Players seeking a lengthy cinematic campaign should therefore adjust their expectations accordingly. ALT Lab itself presents Spy Alliance more as an experimental social experience than a traditional narrative-heavy game. Its development reportedly involved years of experimentation because the team faced financial, production, and technical difficulties while attempting to implement real-time interaction between two players in this format. That experimental background can be felt throughout the finished product. The game is less interested in delivering enormous amounts of content than in examining what happens when two people must jointly shape an interactive movie. Its concept therefore feels considerably more original than its individual gameplay mechanics. The strongest aspect of Spy Alliance is the human interaction surrounding the game. Cooperation can reveal how well two players understand each other's intentions, while conflicting choices can generate humorous arguments and unexpected consequences. Moments involving mutual deception or flirtation further reinforce the social emphasis. In this respect, the person playing alongside you effectively becomes part of the game's design. A compatible partner who enjoys joking, discussing choices, and experimenting with different outcomes can make the experience significantly more entertaining than the underlying mechanics would be on their own. There are important accessibility considerations. Spy Alliance requires online connectivity for its cooperative focus, and its hardware requirements are relatively modest, including 4 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage under the Windows minimum specifications. More significantly, the Steam listing indicates that English is not supported, with Simplified Chinese providing the supported interface, full audio, and subtitles. This represents a substantial obstacle for players who cannot understand Chinese and should be considered before purchasing. The game also contains mild violence or gore and general mature material. Ultimately, Spy Alliance works best when treated as a short cooperative interactive movie rather than a deep RPG, strategy game, or conventional cinematic adventure. Its simple QTEs and puzzles are unlikely to impress players seeking mechanical complexity, and its short duration limits the depth of its narrative. Nevertheless, the dual-player decision system gives the experience an identity of its own. The combination of branching outcomes, separate character perspectives, cooperation, distrust, and playful interpersonal conflict creates something that can be especially enjoyable with the right partner. ALT Lab has produced an interesting experiment in making the relationship between two actual players as important as the fictional relationship between their characters. Spy Alliance is a creative and approachable cooperative FMV experience whose greatest strength comes from shared decision-making and player chemistry. Its limited mechanical depth, brief length, and lack of English support reduce its broader appeal, but players who fit its intended audience can find a charming and genuinely unusual two-person adventure within its compact structure.
