About
SPRAWL zero is a first-person shooter inspired by 2000s console FPS games. Both the aesthetics and design sensibility call back to the Golden Age, where the genre evolved from shooting in corridors to building worlds.
You play as FIVE, a cybernetically enhanced supersoldier controlled by the Junta. Your directive is to eliminate SILAS, leader of the radical techno-religious group IMAGO-DEI. The city will plunge into chaos as all factions known and unknown grasp for the reins. Reconcile your truths or succumb to the SPRAWL.
Combat in SPRAWL zero is fast-paced but grounded. Enemy squads will communicate and coordinate to wrestle the advantage. Flanks, covering fire, and grenades will flush you out, creating dynamic firefights inspired by classics like F.E.A.R. and Halo.
In your hands, FIVE must outsmart and outmaneuver the opposition using any advantage possible. Catch their bullets and throw them right back with the Gravity Shield, or bend your shots midair with Bullet-Time for inhuman precision. A massive arsenal of weapons and FIVE’s cybernetics are your tools of destruction.
Gravity Gloves, Gravity Shield, and Rushdown expand combat beyond gunplay, enabling aggressive pushes, defensive play, and physics-driven encounters. No problem has just one solution.
Handcrafted levels feature multiple paths, verticality, and alternate approaches, rewarding experimentation and replayability. Push aggressively, play tactically from cover, or dominate encounters through physics-based combat. Player agency was a fundamental pillar of Y2K design, and SPRAWL zero accommodates players to find their own niche.

My most anticipated game of the year. Lived up to my expectations and surpassed them. If you like shooters from the early to mid 2000's like Halo, F.E.A.R, Half Life 2, Timeshift, among many others, as well as some more recent ones like Trepang2 and Metal Eden just do yourself a favor and play. It has the tight, simple yet addictive gameplay loop with its own distinct set of unique abilities that you won't ever get tired of using, music that sounds very much from that era, extremely clever level design with multiple angles of approach and wonderfully grimy and grungy art direction to boot, and a story intriguing enough that you'll gladly read whatever text logs you come across. It's all there. Don't hesitate to pick this game up. Hesitation is the death, after all.

About an hour and a half in, and all I can say is PLAY THIS GAME!!! Doom game play, Dead Space telekinesis but better, Half Life graphics and vibe, Judge Dredd style future with you being a super cop and domestic terrorists are unhappy you are a super cop. Great gameplay loop! Can't wait to play more. Gameplay is by far the best part. Like Doom, you want heals? Kill people in slow motion. Need more ammo? Too bad. There is no reloading. Which is awesome, adds to the fast pace of this game as reloading would slow it down. Oh, you're out of ammo? Deal with it, THROW YOUR GUN, grab a new one, and kill more guys. I found myself enjoying the Halo style gravity hammer more than recent 343 games... which is both sad and hilarious in this game. Story/lore (so far) for me is not a weak point, but an ignored point on my part. I'm the type of player where for action games like this I kinda ignore/don't care about the story which seems fine here. There are codexes and more in addition to the cutscenes, your supervisor coming over the radio and more. Overall, try the demo for free. If you like it, for only $19.99 USD (currently on sale) is a great deal and a great time. Even if there is no new game plus, will 100% play it again. Kudos to the devs

fun and action packed game. Reminds me of other older games like shadow warrior, hard reset, fear, prey. The graphics are reminiscent of those older games but still beautiful and modern. The music fits the theme and adds to the gameplay. The guns are fantastic and are addicting to use. The abilities are downright cool and the levels/map are fun. The enemies are gradually introduced and add some unique gameplay mechanics. The mystery box gun chest is freaking cool. Voice acting is also very good. Hard to find a flaw thus far in the game (1.4hrs). I play on the hardest difficulty and am having a blast, just the right amount of hardness that forces me to think, use my skills, master the environment and movement system. For what this game costs I think it's worth your time and money. Definitely fun and nostalgic while making sure your experience is fun. Just the right amount of game in a game. Recommend!
Everything about this is extremely My ♥♥♥♥ but the moment all the combat comes together with the music and the art it feels like something truly special. I really like the first game so I had been waiting for this one with fervor since it had been announced and I'm just so happy to have it in my library now. Played it on hardest difficulty, got my ass kicked, had an amazing time. Metalheart is MAETH.
