This game does a lot right but a lot it could do to really stand out from the crowd. For example, you can paint some walls, but it lets you pass after around 99% even with huge patches of area still needing paint, and doesn't offer to let you fix walls with obvious paint missing. If they could let you repaint and then apply murals, that'd be great. The ability to pick up a lot of trash without picking up each individual piece is nice, but the trash can be hard to see and doesn't really stand out enough to be visible from a distance. It's got a few good things like the first mission assembling the boxing ring, but those are very few and far between. Honestly? if they let you put together more equipment, had a better painting minigame, and offered more variety, it would stand out from the other construction simulator games of this genre.

For a game that forces me to watch a boring tutorial and boring animations of me picking up my tools, painting with no animation at all and forcing me to paint 99.999999999% to complete the job was boring. Couldn't pass that.

Was hier als simpler „House Flipper“-Abklatsch getarnt ist, entpuppt sich als einer der liebevollsten und detailreichsten Renovierungs-Simulatoren, die ich je gespielt habe. Wer Lust auf Entspannung mit einer ordentlichen Portion Geschichte hat, ist hier genau richtig. [h2]Gameplay & Quality of Life – Eine echte Offenbarung[/h2] Der Kern ist bekannt: Müll sammeln, putzen, streichen, reparieren. Aber der Teufel steckt im Detail. Die [u]magnetische Müll-Aufsaug-Funktion[/u] und der spätere Vakuumsauger sind eine absolute Wohltat. Während andere Spiele dich jedes Staubkorn einzeln anklicken lassen, pflügst du hier durch den Dreck und es fühlt sich einfach nur [b]satisfying[/b] an. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Abwechslung: In einem Level baust du einen Boxring bis zur letzten Schraube zusammen, im nächsten mähst du den Rasen eines Football-Stadions und so vieles mehr. Das Werfen der Müllsäcke ist zwar hakelig, aber der Moment, wenn der Fernseher aus der Distanz im Container (für ein Achievement) landet, ist unbezahlbar. [h2]Story & Atmosphäre – Der „History Podcast“-Faktor[/h2] Was dieses Spiel komplett von der Konkurrenz abhebt, ist der [b]Bildungsauftrag[/b]. Während du schuftest, erzählt dir der Radiomoderator Kurt Reynolds Geschichten über polnische Kletterlegenden, sowjetische Schwimm-Mysterien oder die Pioniere des Frauen-Baseballs in den 40ern. Die Lore ist tief, teilweise düster (Stichwort: Susie Bass) und gibt dir das Gefühl, nicht nur Wände, sondern die Seele dieser Sportstätten zu retten. In welchen Simulator findet man sowas sonst? MEGA! [h2]Technik & Steam-Reviews – Das „Leiter-Problem“[/h2] Machen wir uns nichts vor: Viele negative Reviews auf Steam sind schlichtweg [b]User-Error[/b]. Leute beschweren sich, sie kämen nicht an die Decke – dabei gibt es eine [u]ausfahrbare Leiter auf der Alt-Taste[/u], man muss nur die Augen aufmachen. Technisch lief bei mir alles butterweich. Keine Abstürze, keine Gamebreaker. Der einzige echte Kritikpunkt: Alten Missionen lassen sich NICHT mehr wiederholen, um verpasste Collectibles zu sammeln. Das ist für 100%-Jäger extrem frustrierend, zumal ein bestimmtes Poster wohl verbuggt ist bzw. nicht korrekt programmiert wurde, weshalb die 100% ohne Cheat-Engine NICHT möglich sind. [h2]Fazit – Ein Pflichtkauf im Sale[/h2] [b]Sports Renovations[/b] hat mich komplett überrascht. Es ist vollgepackt mit Liebe zum Detail, tollen Voice-Overs und einem Gameplay-Flow, der dich die Zeit vergessen lässt. 10 Stunden pure Unterhaltung, die sich deutlich wertiger anfühlen als viele 30-Stunden-Grind-Simulatoren. [b]Der Vollpreis von 25€ ist saftig, aber im Sale für einen Zehner? Schnappt es euch, wenn ihr solche Simulatoren mögt (und keinen 100% Drang habt).[/b]

It’s okay but not great. Worth $25? No. Wait for it to go on sale for $10 - $15.

Great game and will keep you busy for hours. With numerous facilities to renovate it keeps the game from becoming boring. With venues varying from boxing, climbing, swimming, golf, hockey and finally football/soccer. Only down side is when gathering all the trash, it gets frustrating trying to find the last piece of garbage to clear a renovation. Other than that I give it two thumbs up.

any know how to fix the pool mission loading screen glitch???

I played the demo a few months ago because of that i bout the full version but now i finished all the missions in one day and i regret buying this game because it was so short lived. ANY UPDATES COMING SOON!!!!!!!!! like new missions.
