About
Spiritus Sancti is a first-person psychological horror game centered on ritual, faith, and the power of the spoken word. You play as Father Nathaniel, a young priest sent to investigate a suspected possession inside a small apartment on Vayra Street.
What begins as a routine investigation quickly turns into something far more sinister.
Your only defense is the sacred language of the ritual. Using your microphone, you must speak invocations aloud to repel the demon, weaken its influence, and survive the encounter. But the entity learns. It adapts. And faith alone may not be enough.

Amazing Indie Horror Game. The voice recognition works pretty good and the 4th wall breaking is super immersive. I can highly recommend this game if you want to experience something new in the horror game field!
Amazing game, i really recommend to link your phone to the game, it adds to the experience. Took me a few levels at the start to really understand how to solve the game. Once it got through that part though it was amazing.
We've played hundreds of Horror games and this one is by far the best. its different to any game i've played, the voice element is phenomenal and works brilliantly and breaks the fourth wall with some incredible surprises. the story is and gameplay is incredibly whilst being terrifying. easily the best horror game i've run!

Super unique and interesting gameplay, and thanks for adding in the option to have easier detection on the microphone pickup. Had no issues with an Aussie accent. W dev!
Abi Spiritus Malignus, Vade Retro Satana!
This was a fun game, I would play it again, and probably will. I think it has some unique features that other games do not offer. Worth the money if you like horror games and puzzles as well, highly recommend.
I had the chance to stream it on Twitch and get support from the dev. I thought that was really cool. I’m very grateful to him and hope for more horror titles that’ll make me need a change of underwear. :D General Impressions Spiritus Sancti starts with a very interesting concept: using the player's microphone as an actual gameplay tool. Having to speak incantations aloud to defend against the demon makes the experience more immersive than the typical horror game where you simply hide or search for items. The apartment setting works well to create a sense of claustrophobia. At first, the rooms seem relatively normal, but the fact that the apartment changes and the spaces themselves become increasingly unsettling helps build a strong atmosphere of tension. Gameplay The most original feature is undoubtedly the voice-based system. Having to actually speak into the microphone during encounters with the demon creates a much deeper sense of engagement. It isn't just a matter of pressing a button to use an ability; you have to physically recite the incantations. However, this mechanic needs to be extremely precise and reliable. If voice recognition fails to interpret what is being said correctly, the player might feel they lost not because of their own mistake, but due to a system glitch. It is a feature that can be great fun when it works well, but also very frustrating when it doesn't respond as it should. Atmosphere and Horror The atmosphere is one of the game's strongest points. It focuses more on psychological tension and the feeling of being watched and hunted, rather than constantly devolving into a standard action-horror experience. The lack of weapons forcing the player to rely solely on rituals, also heightens the protagonist's vulnerability. Knowing you cannot simply fight the enemy makes encounters much more tense. Audio Audio is crucial in a game like this. Voices, ambient noise, and sudden sounds contribute significantly to the sense of unease, especially since the player is also required to use their own voice. For this reason, I would prioritize maximizing the clarity of audio cues and the feedback indicating when the game has successfully recognized an incantation. What I Would Improve The first thing I would improve is the voice recognition system and the feedback provided to the player. It should be immediately clear when the game has correctly recognized what we said and when we have made a mistake. I would also add a bit more guidance during the early stages to clearly explain how the incantations work and what to expect during encounters with the demon. Overall, however, I find the attempt to use the player's voice as an integral part of the gameplay interesting. It is a mechanic that sets Spiritus Sancti apart from many other first-person horror games and, if further refined, could become one of its key strengths. ( i want in italian too!!!!) Rating Atmosphere: 8/10 Gameplay: 7.5/10 Audio: 8/10 Originality: 9/10 Immersion: 8.5/10 Voice Recognition: 7/10 Overall Score: 8/10 Doesn't completely reinvent the horror genre, but it introduces a unique mechanic that makes the experience more personal and immersive. The concept of actually using one's own voice to confront the demon is arguably the game's most interesting aspect, and it could become even more effective with further improvements to voice recognition and gameplay feedback.
Amazing indie horror game! The idea of using your microphone to preform exorcism is great! The fact that by default is using Latin is also another great feature! Yeah, you can change it to English, but to fully immerse in the game i recommend to use it in Latin! The sotry is great, the puzzels are not so easy at first, but by the time you get hang of it. Also one great futire of the game before you start is the conection option to your phone number. *⚠️SPOILERS⚠️* After watching others players run, I saw they are 3 conection to the phone by the game, but for some reason i got only the first two and never the last on 2 playthrough. *⚠️SPOILERS⚠️* In my last playthrough with the most hard difficulty, I have encounter some problems. I don't think I have problems with the microphones, but sometimes even the simplest words, the game can't detect it right. Especially in the dialogue before final part. The phrase "What if it..." can't detect it. I try boosting up my microphone volume, i try changing audio sorce, but no matter what the game just refuse to acknowledge it. The only way was to reduse the difficulty of pronunciation. And for those 2 reasons, I can't give it a 10/10, but 9.8/10! I recommend this game!
