it's a cool game, but it's nothing too amazing or revolutionary, so I don't recommend spending too much time playing this.

I remember playing this game in 2015. I remembered this game as very stylish and it probably partially defined my sense of taste in design. I didn't get far back there, i didn't even reach royal jelly boss. Now i reached the endgame and tried most of the events in the span of last 5 months. Did the game deserve such downfall? Yeah, absolutely. Devs are so out of touch with the players it feels like they don't want you to play their game at all. I understand that the current dev team is a lot smaller than it used to be but you don't need AAA level team to fix existing cancerous aspects of the game. The devs have made 2 qualitative changes to the game (forge rework and free OCH) and who might have guessed? It boosted the player count! The players actually like when the game is improved. For some reason though, developers didn't draw ANY conclusions from that: no plans, no roadmaps, NOTHING. Also worth noting that during the long update lull, the developers were actively taking down community members' efforts to fix the game using private servers while simultaneously not making the game better themselves. The game as of right now sucks to play as a live service game it wants to be, notably because there's no live service at the moment. That's it for the general part, if you really wanna play this game, i would recommend sticking to some guild early on and joining the discord servers. Now, for the specific part, my own long beefs with the game. - Progression until 3* is literally tutorial until the game starts choking you with the alchemy orb farm and gear check walls. - Binding/unbinding sucks. - The entire "endgame" consists of running one singular stage because devs cannot buff the arcade, game's most content rich and replayable mode where also most events have their custom segments. - Why not cycle the recurring events or make them 1-2 month long? Like literally, who benefits from gaps between events? - Krogmo coin farm sucks ass. - Most events are unfairly grindy, ~0.00008% for a key event item to drop with no pity system is absurd. And the only way to circumvent this? Buy it from another players for a literal hundreds of hours worth of FSC farming. And don't get me wrong, the game itself is grindy, but the event grind is literally Sisyphus meme. After farming FSC for hours you get a lot of crowns, you get to see PROGRESS. After farming the book of dark rituals for hours you see no progress until you finally get it and since there's not pity system, it's literally gambling with your time. - Defensive is dead in this game. This wouldn't been much of a problem if it didn't make ALL armors in the game useless except 2. And don't even get me started on the shields.
makes me so mad
"This name is in use." Guess I gotta invent a whole new language for games like this. Not happening.
