Spyware Warning! This game acts as spyware and performs personal data gathering and transmission. It attempts to install the Xigncode3 malware/rootkit into your PC, which cannot be removed cleanly afterwards. This spyware rootkit compromises the integrity of your PC. This spyware rootkit monitors and reports on all aspects of your PC as well as your browsing history, passwords and online activity. There's no way to opt out and you are forced to agree to a non-enforcable agreement which involves the developer selling your private data and profiling you. This is completely unethical and reprehensible. Gamers must be aware of the dangers of installing this harmful software and should avoid this completely.

Warning: Microtransaction infested mobile app
AVABEL ONLINE(Steam版) is one of thousands of nasty mobile apps infesting the "free" section of Steam, but it's not really free. There's only a superficial "game" here. This cancerous mobile app... I mean, usually they at least try to look like real games (this helps with the scam), but this one you can tell from a single glance it's a nasty cash grab. So really, this is is just a veneer wrapped around a nasty, predatory mobile app cash shop. Thus, the true purpose of this mobile app is to get you to hand your credit card details to the greedy mobile devs so you can buy stuff in the nasty cash shop... it shouldn't be considered a real game because it's a mobile app cash harvester, and has no place in your game library. Putting that toxic mobile app monetisation aside... this is a mobile app. I didn't spend thousands on a gaming PC so I could pretend it's an iPhone, and I don't think you did either... this kind of mobile app has no place in your Steam library. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at less than 100 concurrent players, they couldn't even break three figures, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.

Man I miss the old avabel online back in 2013
I played this game originally in 2015-2019 on Mobile. Back before the 2018 public event that they had, where they spoke on porting the game to the Nintendo Switch and an official console release as well as an updated Engine with new degrees of mechanics, combat, and updated graphics, these things never came. Instead, this game, which was formerly an extremely fair game for both paid and f2p players with amazing customization, class combinations with main and subclasses, and great Advanced Skills and EX Ring Skills, the game had decided to remove all access for f2p players to their paid currency. Instead, they changed the currencies and how a free player can obtain 'gems'. The gem system was now Paid and Free gems, Paid gems having access to all sorts of things that free gems cannot obtain, ever. They then removed the ability to utilize the Player Trading Marketplace, banned countless players, deleted countless players' Accounts due to a forced "Phone Number Link" for all players, and then deleted all former base classes and class selections. They deleted all reasons for past classes, they then reworked all skills to be on LONG cooldowns, even the special skills that were intended to be Basic Attack replacements (Such as the Fire Knight's EX Ring which gave a powerful fiery greatsword basic attack combo, or Blader having 2 different basic attack alters) and made them useless as all skills are now dependent on cooldown reduction (Which only comes from the pay to win orb shop.) They then further ruined the game by introducing PAID ONLY CLASSES. Yes, you cannot even max out any class without PAYING MONEY for their "premium" service. They took what was formerly one of the best MMORPGs on mobile (Seriously, the game was VERY good) and ruined it. Why you might ask? Because they remade this game 6 different times to try and milk out all the money they could out of their players as a panicked endeavor as this was JUST before the release of the Black Desert Mobile release. Yes. I'm serious. This developer is so hilariously insecure they killed any chance of their game succeeding/maintaining it's lifecycle by aggressively milking their players with anti-consumer practices and exploitative monetization. (I'm not kidding, I'm pretty sure this game could easily lose a lawsuit over anti-consumer practices and fraudulent actions due to re-releasing the literal exact same game onto app stores and Steam 6 times, all with the same name with some stupid additional word-change like 'AVABEL: CLASSIC' despite being literally the exact same game with no changes.) Now, finally, they also released this terrible product onto steam using a very BLATANT poor emulator. This is NOT a proper PC port, it's literally the mobile game with an OBVIOUS emulator (I'm guessing stolen from bluestacks or something) And finally, the translation and localization is so bad it's incredibly laughable. Do not install. Advise against ANYONE you know ever playing the game. Do not support it. Stop supporting Toram too. Asobimo inc does not deserve any kind of support. Their anti-consumer practices deserve legal punishment.
Game gives EXP like nothing, I am already level 500 in the matter of 3 hours. Auto quest is nice but feels cheap when you can just idle the game and have it play by itself, gem system is stupid with splitting both "free" and "paid" gems, preventing you to get most items without paying. It is a nostalgic feeling game at that, but just reeks of a dying game. Skip this one and play a better MMO.
If you're thinking of playing for the first time: Please no. Don't waste your time. If you're a returning player: Yeah, Asobimo still not improving the game. Its even worst than before. The 1st anniversary till the 3rd are okay but... now its just trash. GVG and Towers are just bad enough. Shop systems messed up, Levels caps are the worst and requires you either spending money for gems or just grind till you're old af and i bet you still wont get anywhere. Graphic not improving at all. Basically you're playing with a phone simulator installed. I was happy for a few years, but now I get disappointment.
This was a terrible emulation of what was once quite enjoyable. I'd stick to the nostalgia instead of the pathetic excuse of a port.

Nostalgic MMORPG Game
号称可容纳1000人同时对战的游戏,最高在线不到百人 所谓5000万狂热玩家怕不是连5000个用户都没有吧
