The game seemed okay. The crude graphics and animation are ugly, but that isn't what really makes a game. Still, be nice if it got a once over for an update or sequel. The game itself seems a bit like an early version of Gem Craft, there are towers you place, gems you place in them, and gems can be increased in size. Where the game differs, at least so far, is that gems have no color, and must have spells put into them to have any attack. The gems get several slots, the number of which increases as you upgrade them. You do have to spend 'wisdom', a strategic currency, to learn new spells, and upgrade certain abilities (or lower basic prices) So far there are no tactical abilities, and honestly I will be surprised if any show up. Also there doesn't seem to be a way to choose your target priorities. The monsters have different appearances, not sure if they have different abilities, but I am building a bestiary in the game, so I will discover more as things progress. As is, it is interesting, and I enjoyed playing it, till I got to level seven, which seems impossible. I have tried various strategies, and rearranging my strategic upgrade points, but nothing comes close to making this level possible. As such, two thumbs down...
