About
Speedball is a no-holds-barred arena sport pitting two teams head-to-head in a pulse-racing match-up requiring speed, agility and aggression.
Seamless top-down arena gameplay meets classic sports strategy – with added violence!
A new entry into the iconic Bitmap Brothers’ original series: venture into the grim future of 2138 where mega-corporations use Speedball to distract the downtrodden masses from their miserable lives.
Once an underground sport reviled for its brutality, Speedball has risen to unprecedented heights of popularity and profitability. Do you have what it takes to dominate the arena and take your team to the top?
BRUTALITY
Listen to the roar of the crowd and the crunch of broken bones as you perform visceral takedowns, battering opponents in an all-out rush to the goal. Use each arena’s unique traps and hazards to destroy the opposing team.
SPEED
It’s in the name - Speedball is fast-paced, explosive and unpredictable. You will need to master high-speed passing, coordination and shooting if you’re to climb to the top of the underground world of Speedball.
STRATEGY
Select, position and organise your players based on their strengths and weaknesses. Will your team be known for total aggression, or will you develop a defensive powerhouse? Your team, your rules.
CUSTOMISATION
Choose your home arena and personalise your team’s emblem, colours and armour for a custom-built online experience.
WAYS TO PLAY
Go up against the best of the best in online multiplayer, wrangle mates into a private lobby, tackle single player league mode or invite friends over for some old school couch gaming action! Step into the arena and play your way.

Uhhh... couldn't even get an online match to start. Great job. Not spending even the eight dolloas y'all discounted this P.O.S. Ain't worth my time y'all wasted. Booo... Hissss.
Klavye kontrol şeması bunun kadar karmaşık bir oyuna denk gelmemiştim daha önce, kontrolleri kavrayabilirseniz eğer maçlar baya eğlenceli geçiyor yoksa tam bir ızdırap
souvenir Amiga
Another updated Amiga classic I bought recently (alongside the Alien Breed trilogy) that stays true to the original gameplay. Its fun and retains the core mechanics plus some extra tricks. Probably very good as a 2-player sharing the screen, which will be where the most fun is. My only real criticism is that instead of instant replays we get celebrations dances. An update adding replays would be great.
I've just mucked around on this for an hour and appear to have covered everything that offline mode has to offer. I'm going to give my thoughts having seen all the past remakes of the amazing core concept, miss the mark. This one does the best job of nailing the gameplay. I don't know if the devs still care but here's my view nobody cares about. 1. Identify who this game is for. Reading reviews a solid number say "I played the orginal...". When remaking a game from the 90s, maket it to that generation of oldies or why bother using the identity. This game has all the visual markers of a game for GenZ, it's a bit zaney and bright. Tone it down and make it a bit more bleak and desperate feeling. You have done a good job here but just a move more in that direction and you've got it. 2. The actual matches are very good and but there's a lot going on. Taking a bit more from the old pitch layouts would make point upgrades a bit easier to use and see, 3. Offer a basic player upgrade and marketplace option. If a game from 1990s can offer an upgrade system and marketplace, you can too. I don't need more and more players that I don't care about, to replace players that I don't care about. Go with a basic stat upgrade screen based on points earned in match or something. 4. You remade a game from the 90's. There's a copy paste of player roster and looks to lift and shift over form Brutal Deluxe. Why not start the game with the Brutal Deluxe team, connect us in to that old game which we already know, previous fans will love you for it. The addtion of more teams to pick is fantastic but make our starting place what we know. Why start me on Baroque? 5. Everyone has said add a top down camera. Also let me turn off all the added controls and let me just play in basic run round mode, I'm old now, all the old fans who have money to buy this and want the old game are old now. On that note, I'm going to buy and I'm going to recommend it, with the hope maybe a random company dev will take this and keep building the Speedball 2 Brutal Deluxe remake, that all the old gaming dogs here are waiting for. To the executive team, get out the way and let someone take this game to completion from the good base they have built.
I liked this game, it's just that I'm bad at team sports games where there are more than two buttons ))
Muito confuso visualmente, muita informação visual rolando ao mesmo tempo. Terrível pra quem ter um monitor pequeno.
Great game. Brings back memories from back in the day. Hopefully the devs continue to support it. I really am enjoying it. I also like the updated graphics, gameplay mechanics, etc. It’s a little hectic at times but it’s great.
Fun game! If you're craving Cyberball nostalgia, then this will scratch the itch enough to get the job done. Plus, you get to unlock a Judge Dredd team...nuff said.
