It's a really nice game actually, probably one I would play with my friends online via Steam too, but sadly, theres no online co-op and Steam remote play is pure sh*t. But its free and local co-op so its actually a free, good co-op game. LIKE
super fun, but still quite buggy. enemies keep attacking dead players, players get stuck in spawn location and so on. but besides all that super fun game. love it, play with my friend all the time.

"SpearHeads" is a laughably badly made PvP platform arena game that revolves around a gimmick of collecting and throwing various "spears" at other players.. that's all there is going for it. It's dead, no players, not that it matters because there's no matchmaking or anything. The developer didn't know enough about game development to do online gameplay, so it's local shared screen only. The graphics here are particularly awful, pixelcrap... or an attempt to be pixelcrap retro? When the graphics are so bad in a game that you can't tell if it's trying to be retro pixelcrap and failing, you know it's the worst, so bad that it actually stands out as one of the worst looking games on Steam. Quite an accomplishment. It's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. They have their hand out for a $5 USD "donation" for this as you're expected to give them money from buying empty DLC from Steam... digital panhandling. Like the homeless guys who splash dirty water on your windscreen at the traffic lights. No thanks. A peak of 4 concurrent users for a "free" game is a disastrous public reception. Out of 130 million potential players here on Steam, almost nobody was interested. Even though this is "free". That level of rejection speaks a lot for the quality of the product. Given that this free title won't increase your game collector count, is it worth your time to add it to your library? This is a hard pass. There's no immediate financial commitment, but there are thousands of more compelling games on the platform that will give you a lot more enjoyment for your time.
Like duck game basically but with spears, it's alright.
Dear SpearHeads Developers, I really like the idea behind the game you made. I had a lot of fun while palying this game. It is simple but somehow fun at the same time and I think that other people would enjoy the game too. The only downsite of the game is that there is no online-multiplayer. The game would be so much more fun if there was an online-multiplayer. And yes, steam-remoteplay is still absolute bull sh*t, don't bother trying. Anyways.. good game :) In Deutschland sagt man: Wiederschauen und Reingehauen
Buen Juego para 4 jugadores
