Игра 'Boned' — это, без преувеличения, взрыв мозга и настоящий вызов вашему вестибулярному аппарату. Сразу скажу, она не для слабонервных и тех, кто ценит спокойствие. Её главная фишка — это, конечно, физика. Всё здесь живёт своей, зачастую непредсказуемой жизнью. Персонажи то и дело разваливаются на части, как будто собранные из картона, и это создаёт одновременно комичный и слегка жутковатый эффект. Управление требует привыкания, и поначалу вы будете чувствовать себя дирижёром оркестра, который пытается выучить партитуру прямо во время концерта. Но как только вы начнёте чувствовать этот хаос, начнётся настоящее веселье. Каждый уровень — это головоломка, где нужно проявить не только смекалку, но и изрядную долю везения. Боссы — это отдельная песня, каждый со своими причудами и совершенно безумными атаками. Графика, хоть и не претендует на фотореализм, очень стильная и отлично передаёт атмосферу. Музыкальное сопровождение тоже на высоте, добавляя драйва и паники. В общем, если вы ищете что-то свежее, дикое и готовое бросить вызов вашим навыкам, 'Boned' — ваш выбор.

Было бы хорошо если б добавили мультиплеер.

This game cannot be played as intended.[/quote] This is a poorly made, amateurish 2D retro console-esque platformer brawler/shooter, one of many hundreds, if not thousands of these dead games on Steam. This one relied on one sole gimmick that other games did better, instead of flat platforms you have little "planets" you run around the circumference of and jump between them... yeah, that's all this had going for it. So it failed. So, "Boned" is a dead PvP game. Why did it fail? It's video game autopsy time! [i]The vast majority of PvP focused games on Steam are failures.[/i] Most fail because developers assume just because the game project code completes a successful build, the game will instantly and magically "go viral" just for existing. There's nothing in this to appeal to gamers that hundreds of other PvP games are already doing better. The market for PvP games is crowded and the player base is limited. This game never reached "critical mass", didn't "go viral", and didn't offer anything to differentiate itself enough. Even with no upfront cost, it failed to appeal to gamers for several reasons. First and foremost, there's no meaningful single player content. The developer gambled that other players would be an acceptable substitute for adding storytelling, level design etc to the Game. They lost that bet. Without a huge community of players or single player content to add a lasting value to the game, the game dies. Developers must learn that other players are not an acceptable substitute for adding content to a game. On the topic of visuals, the weak looking 2D retro assets seem like they'd be more at home in a browser game or a mobile app. 3D graphics accelerators hit the mainstream of PC gaming in the mid 1990's with cards like the ATI Rage and Voodoo3D, there's no excuse for such poor 2D graphics in 2026. That alone is enough to disqualify this for recommendation. Insultingly, the developer insists that you should play this with a console peasant children's toy gamepad instead of KB+M. Developers should try to be aware which platform they're designing games for. It's the responsibility of the developer to ensure the game runs well on the platform they're selling it on, with the primary peripherals that PC gamers use. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. A peak of [b]4 concurrent users[/b] (according to SteamDB) for a "free" game is a disastrous public reception. Out of 130 million potential players here on Steam, almost nobody was interested. Even though this is "free". That level of rejection speaks a lot for the quality of the product. All other issues aside (any of which would disqualify this from being worth your time), this is a game that relies on other players for it to be viable, and because there's not enough players, it's not viable. I can't recommend anyone downloads this, it's basically dead. Finally, I write these reviews to try help people navigate the thousands of games on Steam so they don't waste time on low quality products. There's over 140,000 games on Steam... Steam Direct is allowing an influx of around 40-50 new games [i]every day![/i]. If you think I'm wrong about this one, go ahead and add it to your library, download it, install it, play it and see for yourself. Maybe you'll come to agree with me after wasting your time. Either way, consider writing your own reviews too. I'm just glad if my review helps give gamers enough info to make a better informed choice.

Fun game! The people I was with were laughing and yelling. Good mechanics/physics. Good tutorial (must read). Awesome graphics and gameplay. A+
