Spartan Survivors

Spartan Survivors won’t win any award for its simplicistic artstyle and quite basic bullet heaven formula. Yet, for a free Halo fan game, I have a hard time asking for much more. The gameplay loop is enjoyable. The game is packed with Halo-themed characters, weapons, enemies and locations. There’s 10 levels and much to unlock. It’s currently only playable on PC, but it’ll hit Xbox consoles in the future, as well. Whether now or when it hits consoles, do give this one a fair shot if you’re into Halo, as it’s clearly a project made with passion by someone who loves the IP.

Simple and fun

too easy, makes it boring. i like halo, not a crazy fan of it but i wanted to try it out anyways, and at first i started with the ODST ace character, bcs i liked the look of it. played 3 levels on normal with it, and had no trouble at all. i then went back to the first level on legendary, with the same character and a few upgrades, and it barely posed an issue. i then looked through all of the characters, and noticed that the "bathrobe" character starts with a flamethrower, and the bathrobe passive, which when maxed out increases all stats by 40%.. which makes it even easier than it already was, so i even put it on max speed (300%) and still had no issues. its good for passing time i guess, but you could do plenty of other things instead.

Ngl this game has 10ish minutes of gameplay. Only reason I played more was because of the steam achievements
