Look this is a free game, check it out if it interests you, But if you are wondering why it is a negitive review well... As majority of the reviewers have already pointed out, after your first 30-50 minutes or 1 to 2 games. you have seen everything what the game has to offer. Levels progress painfully slow and the game loop is very flat for a bullet hell type game and enemies are always slowly pathing to you with little or no variation. Tactics don't change at all throughout this game. New weapons do get introduced as you complete levels and you can play as different characters, But this does not change things up too much. The levels experience visual differences with different textured backgrounds but all are basically the same uninteresting square box you live in. The game is missing that kind of juicy feedback to the player, it feels unfinished and uninspired. I think this game, is an odd branding decison. It really is just a experiment that is themed Halo. but it coudn't stand on its own if you removed that.

Very bland and mind numbing survivor experience. The UI seems like it had no thought or care put into it which is a large part of a great survivor game to me. Also whenever I have outside audio playing from say YouTube on a different monitor, there is a very annoying crackling sound, not sure if that was just a me problem or not, but it occurred in every instance. It is a free game so its worth a shot, but it most likely won't be worth a lot of your time. Also the achievements are completely stupid and unrealistic, no one will want to play this game to achieve them all. Which is ironic because achievements are also a large part of the survivor experience.

It really is just vampire survivors with a Halo re-skin. It's got a couple new mechanics which are fun to use. Not a lot of content but enough to keep yourself entertained for a few hours. The best part is just hearing that Halo BGM and its sound effects. So nostalgic. A game truly made for us aging gamers hahaha
I’ve played Spartan Survivors for about 2 hours, and I want to start by saying: this is actually a game I can recommend—especially since it’s free. But then why am I giving it a negative review? The game clearly takes inspiration from Vampire Survivors, which is both a strength and a weakness. On one hand, the gameplay feels familiar and works fine—combat feels decent, weapons are okay, and the enemies do their job. It’s easy to jump into and play right away. On the other hand, it also feels very simple and a bit too “basic.” The graphics are fine, but the map feels generic and doesn’t really offer anything interesting to explore. The biggest issue for me is the lack of information and polish. You can choose different characters, but the game doesn’t tell you what weapons or abilities they have. That means you have to start a run just to find out, which feels unnecessarily frustrating. It also feels like the developers haven’t fully implemented the systems that make roguelite games really shine. Right now, it comes across more like an early version or a test build, where the foundation is there, but many important details are still missing. That being said, you can feel the potential. It seems like a project where the developers genuinely want to make a good game and might be listening to feedback. So yes—give it a try, especially since it’s free. But in its current state, it’s just not strong enough yet. Score: 5/10 Not bad, but not good either—for now. I’m looking forward to future updates.
Bullet Hell and Roguelike with halo skin, this game didn't add anything that surprise player, it's only worth for a few round of fun, maybe this game work batter for a phone port so you could playing it when on metro or bus.
A better Halo game than Halo 4 and Halo 5 combined! Features lore accurate Master Chief. 10/10
i had this on 100% then 2 achievements got added that dont have anyway to actually track the progress
While I found it paticularly enjoyable (although for a short time), and almost have all the achievements, It's boring after a hour or so. It reminds me of a cheaply made mobile port or a copy of better games like this, albiet it's free, so it's off the hook on MANY aspects simply because it didn't cost anything. At least this is way better than Halo 4 and 5 combined. Do I reccomend this? Only if you want to add this to your library, spend a few hours on it and then never touch it again.
