A very fun if rough around the edges Halo-themed attempt at a Bullet Heaven game, especially given that its free. The only main issues I have are: - you can't tell how good your progress through a level is, like you usually can with otehrs of the genre (usually, the timer). I *think* the level ends after you kill a certain amount of waves, but I can't confirm it (at 300% speed, I was consistantly ending levels at the 3:00 minute mark and at lvl 40, no matter the level or difficulty) - a lot of the weapons are.......just variants of themselves. Human Gun does one thing, the Covenant version will usually do similar. And a lot of the 'unlockable' weapons are utterly broken compared to earlier ones. - enemy attacks get absurd the further in you get and the higher diffiulcty a level is, to the point of it feeling like artifical difficulty meant to punish you for not using certain upgrades instead of an actual challenge - a fair few achievements are tied to character clears, yet there isn't anyway to actually show you which character has cleared which level (more of a nitpick from a completionist like myself) - it actually annoys me that, given there are 'max your items' achievements, you actually can't get them playing normally (the most you can do is get to level 40, which won't allow you to max 5 Weapons and 5 Items). You have to use the Custom match feature, where experience can get bugged and negate any effort you try. But for a free Bullet Heaven game? Its fun and good enough that I was fine to clear everything on Mythic.
