Spark in the Dark

Intense dungeon crawler, needs a bit of polishing but it's a great game already.

If you have the dedication to keep respawning or the skills to not die, this is a great game, very rewarding when you get something right, and very evil when you get something wrong. I absolutely love playing it, it's first run is tied for first place (with voidtrain) among the action-ey games I have played. The reason I don't compare it to city builders is because that would be like comparing ice cream and pizza, two different types of food.

This game is damn good! It's a dark, merciless dungeon crawler where every encounter could be your last. This game has tremendous potential. For the future, I'd love to see a co-op mode and maybe more classes, like a mage. An RPG without a mage just isn't complete.

I love everything about this game, but I was very disappointed when I saw they used gen AI to portray the nightmares and icons of unlocked skills you find, and the main reason why this is a negative review is because this isn't even said in the Steam description. I understand it's their first game and it's not easy to make an indie game with a small team, so I get why they'd use it as place holders or in a very early stage of development, but now that the game is so advanced and is getting the recognition it deserves, there's no excuse to have generic slop instead of using drawings made by an artist who can draw interesting, unique and terrifying nightmares, mantaining the quality of the rest of the game.

Игра классная, но проблемы со времён беты до сих пор остаются. Так же отсутствует настройка громкости чем усложняет прохождение. Из положительных моментов исправлена оптимизация и хорошее погружение в сеттинг, надеюсь вскоре расширят бестиарий и добавят магию

Очень сложная, мрачная, местами душная игра, которая создаёт ощущение приключения, исследования в котором тебя не ведут за руку и ты волен делать всё что захочешь. Сложнее монстров для меня были только локации. Долго ходил кругами и не понимал куда двигаться дальше и что я пропустил. Оказалось потом, что пропустил пару ключей, которые как раз были очень нужны.

Hardcore and dark with lots of dying. Think you are fighting two undead....Nope....two undead and spiders, lots of spiders, they only need to hit you once with their rot or poison attack and then your dead. It will happen a lot so be prepared, this game is brutal and entertaining with an incredible dark atmosphere. It is rough and has issues but that is to be expected from early access, overall it has potential and I look forward to the finished product.

Refreshingly new take on dungeon crawlers. and it truly is one ! i am so impressed and cant wait to see what else comes of this style.
