gg. Once I went through the slightly wordy tutorial and after taking a while to figure out how to navigate the black holes, I found this a pretty fun and challenging game with some comedic writing, simple controls, and a great amount of levels that kept me hooked trying to get to the top of the leaderboards for each. Some chill 'spacey' music and nice UI polish it off but what makes it really cool is being able to create your own levels and galaxys. I just hope a future update allows these community levels to be shared in-game!
Really fun and well-polished game. I'm a big fan of games where you compete against others on leaderboards, and that's exactly what this game is all about, finding the best (fastest) solutions to each of the puzzles. Even comes with a level editor, which I've yet to check out, as there's a good few hours of content included in the games levels. This game will especially pick up when there's competition on the leaderboards and some level-sharing going on with the community. :)
First of all, what stood out to me was the strikingly clear graphics. This is a challenging physics game, where the difference in hitting a planet or not is within a tiny deviation of your space ship's trajectory. The background music is nice, initially the screen shake was a bit much but I was able to turn it down in the settings menu. I spent extra time in the game, as I made it more challenging by setting myself a 'If I don't make it into first or second place I won't move to the next level' challenge. Therefore getting double the time and enjoyment from the challenging levels. I had fun playing Space Slingers. It is a nice relaxing game too. The levels are creative, where you often have to think outside the box to hit the target planet. I saw that RefresherTowel hid a few Easter egg shortcuts in the game, where if you discover one, you can sometimes cut your time in half. This is a nice solid game by a developer who cares about his craft. A big thumbs up from me. Nice game!
Actually found a game where I can top the leader-board! All joking aside, this is a brilliant game and I can see myself spending a lot of time on it trying to beat my previous times.
