Its a very interesting game. It has little to no story but I think that is a strength of the game that it is good without one, and would be best without it. Its a hard game. If you would like to challenge yourself with a hard game, this would be one to check out. The weapons are given to the player in stages, which I think is a good way to get used to the controls and to introduce how to use it (even if it seems hard to find out what it does for the first few attempts). My only gripe with the game is that the way to get to the bosses is extremely difficult for a few, specifically the ones on the sides of a floating platform. It looks amazing and I absolutely love the music, but there were only a few tracks so it got annoying after it looped for the 20th time. This game was a lot of fun and I would recomend it to my friends and anyone looking for a game to play for a few hours, or a lot of hours depending on how well you get used to how gravity works in the game. Now editing this, I nominated the game for one of the steam awards (small game before it gained award one, cant remember off the top of my head) It wont get the award tbh, but this is a neat game that most people probably don't know about and thought this fit that category perfectly.
I originally wrote 5 other paragraphs, but i gradually realized that they weren't really relevant to what i wanted to write about. I think this game could use a review like the one i originally wrote, but i have something else to say. I don't fully know how to describe the feeling i had while playing this game: it's fun, but it's a type of fun i've only really found in video games, though it's one that i don't find often. It feels kind of... confusing, but confusing in a good way. It feels old; it feels like how video games felt when they were new to me. It feels childlike. It feels playful. But with this game in particular, it just feels f*cking [b]exhilarating[/b]. It feels like f*cking [i]amphetamines[/i]! [b]It's the type of fun that you play video games for.[/b] I know it sounds crazy to say that about an eight-year-old game with 17 reviews, called [i]spaceman sparkles 3d[/i], but i know what i felt. Spaceman sparkles 3d gave me a feeling that most games can only dream of, a feeling so powerful that i think it defines games as an artform. Ever since someone added music and writing to games, games have been made-up of multiple artforms. Some games are great because of those other artforms. But spaceman sparkles 3d isn't great because it's a song, or beacause it's a book, [b]it's great because it's a game[/b].
I can already tell I am going to enjoy this as much as spaceman sparkles 2. Thanks for making this!
Spaceman Sparkles 3 rocks a vibrant and lively art style that feels like it popped right out of a Saturday morning cartoon. :-) The colors are eye-catching, the environments are filled with playful details, and the characters have a nice charm!
This is a cute game
A really great experience that is really special. It has a fantastic OST, pretty great simplistic visuals, and fast skill based gameplay. A solid 9.5/10 for me.

One of my favourite games! I love everything about this game! The only negative is that the new update has made the game controller based, making it hard for me to use a keyboard. Unless I'm missing an option to change the keys, an option like that would be great! Overall rating: 9/10
