Космический Shoot'em up про галактическое путешествие храброго кота. Под нашим руководством космический корабль и команда спасателей. Наша задача - пройти череду уровней и спасти всех котов, которых мы встретим по пути. У корабля есть несколько видов оружия и различные характеристики, которые можно прокачивать, получая за прохождение миссий гаечные ключи и монеты. Миссии радуют разнообразием препятствий, врагов и боссов. Чтобы спасти котов, придется разбивать капсулы и успевать их ловить. Это довольно сложно. Некоторые уровни заставят вас попотеть. «Spaceguard 80» - отличная аркада для всей семьи. Эти космические коты понравятся не только взрослым, но и детям. Цена на игру очень привлекательная, есть несколько режимов, русский язык и 27 достижений.

Cute scroll-shooter about the heroic cat in space. For this genre and graphics and the gameplay is very decent. Plus the game has its own style, which is important.

It is by no means an easy game to play but I think fans of the genre would really like the game."[/i] [h1]Storyline[/h1] Due to the dissolution of the intergalactic union, the galaxy is about to collapse into chaos. Thankfully, the leader of a group of political reformers, Conrad V, has taken control of the space guards, and in preparation of the impending chaos, he recalls all active teams back to base. One of these teams include the Spacecat. On its way back, the Spacecat intercepted an SOS from a civilian spaceship and went to help despite being threatened by the base operator... and this is basically where your journey begins! [h1]Gameplay[/h1] The game features a pretty standard gameplay, where you'll move your spaceship around to avoid asteroids or enemies, and use your weapons (there are several and you can swap among them according to your need) to blast away at these obstacles. Your ultimate goal is to survive the level (it has 3 waves) but if you could manage it, you'll want to destroy any escape pods you see just so you can rescue the cat trapped in it. Not to mention, each level comes in 3 difficulty modes and if you cleared all 3 modes, you'll then get a 3-star rating for that level. Every level you complete will earn you some upgrade tokens and coins. Tokens you'll need to upgrade your weapons and your spaceship, while coins are used to buy, via the in-game shop, very useful power-ups like shields and heals. The combat system in this game seems to use the typical "paper-scissors-stone" formula so if you are going up against ice-covered asteroids or enemies, then you might want to switch your weapon and use something that can deal a ton of fire damage. [h1]Overall[/h1] Although Spaceguard 80 may look and feel like a mobile port, the game works well enough, and can be both challenging and fun for players who love the genre.
