Nice game
Kozak gierka. Prosta, a dzięki temu bez bugów. Łatwa, a dzięki temu nie stresująca. Ładna, a dzięki temu nie kłuje w oczy.
SPACECOM seems outdated and unattractive. Although the minimalist visual concept is intriguing the gameplay rapidly becomes repetitive and is basic by today's standards. The pacing is slow, the interface feels awkward, and it simply isn't as good as it once was.
The game has good presentations, the idea seems nice as well. Sadly the execution simply sucks. Despite battles taking a long time and travel between systems taking long as well I find myself constantly microing. Specificaly moving my damaged fleets to healing points and then back to the front. This is barable in the campaign and other than the lobotomized enemy AI its relatively fun atleast. I had fun completing the bonus objectives which add needed difficulty. Where this game completely disolves is in its multiplayer. Forget about the skirmish AI, it plays worse than a toddler and barely acts as a speed bump for your fleets. PvP is somehow even worse. First, the maps are simetric, so If you both play optimaly you will end up with the same amount of resources. Doen't sound bad right? Well, the think is your limited teritory also limits your fleet size, so you will end up with the same amount of fleets as your enemy, then one of you will attack and either the one with more combat fleets will win, or the winner of the battle will be decided by random hit alocation. What is worse however is if one player plays a little better and ends up with even a single supply cap more than the oponent the game is pretty much over. More fleets means means you win every battle, unless you have really bad rng. And you can respond to enemy attacks anywere in your teritory because of fast friendly travel. There are simply no comback mechanics. Its a horrible experience to play. And all this while you are microing the few fleets you have for your life. I swear this game takes more micro than sc2, even dou it does not apear that way on the surface. On bigger maps you will probably not get into a stalemate, but they are such a chore to play, you have to invade so many planets and if you make a single misplay in the middle of the map and lose some fleets its pretty much over for you, mainly because of the large cost to produce units. Its ridiculous. The game had pottential so its sad it ended this way. The idea of having 3 unit types is cool, but in practice you never build world destroyers and only use them if you start with them. You would much radder capture a planet. The fact that you take atricion damage is also quite bad, it was probably implemented to make steam rolling not as bad, but in practice it makes combacks harder, because you canot easily strike at strategic enemy positions. Ugh.
