just... not fun? you cant control the ships, and there is no real stratagy to what you do
This is a nice short and simple game. Because it's free, try it.
Tutorial is hard, and i get 13 fps so it makes more difficulty :p
lol there is literally no way that you can win in ''♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ TUTORIAL'' ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND? you teach nothing and you put unimaginably hard insane ai. are you stupid? lol idiot. waow what a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ waste of time.
Nice concept, but its difficulty curve is so terrible, as well as the AI of the ships, you lack control over the ships, and the game is too quick, i do not reccomend it.
TL;DR: ---{ Graphics }--- Good ---{ Gameplay }--- Rapidly becomes repetitive ---{ Audio }--- Meh background track with annoying alert sounds ---{ Audience }--- All ---{ PC Requirements }--- Toaster ---{ Difficulty }--- Easy, except for the unbalanced campaign ---{ Balance }--- Nonexistent ---{ Grind }--- Nothing to grind ---{ Story }--- No Story ---{ Game Time }--- Each round is at most, 3 min I would not recommend playing this game. While the premise of the game is interesting, this very premise is the reason why the game lacks balance and makes the gameplay quickly become repetitive. Your only strategy is what to upgrade during the early game, resource production or ship production, and even then, the most reasonable choice is to invest it all into ship production, due to the game balance, or lack thereof. Because the way the game was designed are produced, the side with the most conquered planets in the early game has a guaranteed victory. Next, in the game, there are 4 different unit types, the frigates, cruisers, battleships, and defense platforms. However, there is not much reason to use anything but frigates and sometimes cruisers. The 3 ship types are just more powerful, more expensive versions of each other, having more health and more damage. There is no difference in behavior or movement speeds. Combined with the lack of balance in production times means that battleships are nearly useless, as those factories will likely be destroyed before producing more than 3 battleships. Cruisers rarely see use in the game, as the rapid production times of frigates mean that it is more efficient to just Zerg rush the enemies. Defense platforms are just an outright waste of resources. They are incapable of movement, and have roughly the same stats as a cruiser. And each planet can only have one defense platform at a time. They do not defend against anything, and will be defeated by a rush of frigates. For the boosts, they are about as unbalanced as the rest of the game. One of the boosts, the defense platform upgrade, is as useless as the defense platforms themselves. And depending on the boosts you have available at the beginning of the game, it can help you secure a win or destroy your chances of a fair game. Aside from the lack of game balance, the gameplay rapidly becomes repetitive. You have no control over what your units decide to do, and can only decide what to upgrade. While that sounds like it gives way to some strategy, once you get out of the early game, you have enough resources to randomly upgrade whatever you want wherever you want. Even the boosts don't need much consideration once you have tons of resources coming in. Just simply click whatever you can afford. Also, unlike other RTS games, pausing the game does not allow you to interact with the game, leading to the late game becoming test of how fast you can click the upgrades. Overall, I would not recommend this game. It lacks game balance and variety.
As stated by other the game difficulty goes from 0~10 to 100 in the middle of the tutorial, plus the "+100% speed production" upgrade is bugged, which means that in fact you do NOT have an advantage over the AI, which becomes just impossible (or impracticable nor enjoyable) to defeat. not recommended just because it needs a few bug fixes and some balancing improvements, on the other side, it's a pretty good game after all, just, an unplayable one.
I was interested until I realized all I can do is upgrade things and the rest of the game plays its self. Its just a very short and very boring space flavored clicking game.
