Space Vikings

Fun little gem. I was looking something fast, fun and action packed and this delivered. Totally recommended.

First time on Steam. This shooter game was amazing. Great effects and ......... a lot of fun.

This is a hidden gem of a game you never knew you needed until you play it. It's like if you took the basics of Enter the Gungeon or Nuclear Throne weapon selection, added a modifier system, simplified the game down to the original Zelda dungeon single room combat, and added a quest line that gives solid replay value as you crawl your way through rooms to uncover your pillaging purpose. This game is full of lore, tongue in cheek flavor text, comedic weapon names, and hours of entertainment. Don't miss out. Pick it up. Right meow.

You get the idea. I just played one run. It wasn't very difficult, and it didn't appear to require "Auto Aim" as another reviewer mentioned; that's not the objective of these Action Roguelikes. It's precision and multitasking; instead of turning your brain off to play with autopilot enabled. I'd go so far as to say that a lot of this seemed precisely the same as Tiny Rogues, without implying that it felt like plagiarizing their ideas by making the "Space Boar" larger with the exact same charge or whatever. The visual aspects, as well as the dungeon crawling search for the Ornate Keys, wasn't fun. [h2]Conclusion[/h2] Definitely not something I would sit down with for an extended period of time. The weapon upgrades were cool, albeit a little overbearing with the correct combination, but overall I didn't have much fun with anything here. That is not to say you won't love it; try it out if you wish, and if not then pick up Tiny Rogues you'll see what I mean.

So, this game is super adorable. It nails the roguelite and room-clearing-based stuff you expect from a game like this, with a healthy dose of humor and style. I'm... I'm gonna go for one more run now. And you should buy this game.

Despite the playtime shown on my Steam profile, I played Space Vikings several more hours during its development. With its fast paced game-play and relatively short runs, this game has made me lose track of time after repeating 'just one more run' a few too many times. For its low price, Space Vikings is a worthy little gem.

Juego de acción y ritmo frenético que recuerda a títulos clásicos, como Smash TV o Gauntlet, o más modernos como Vampire Survivors, donde tenemos que eliminar cientos de enemigos de enemigos mientras intentamos sobrevivir para llegar un poco más lejos cada vez. El juego te invita a probar nuevas armas y mejoras conforme las vamos consiguiendo, para buscar la del estilo de juego que más te vaya. Cuidado que engancha, puedes sorprenderte tranquilamente diciéndote "una más", después de estar horas jugando. En fin, un juego repleto de acción, que engancha y muy rejugable.
