About
As a Salvage Crew Recovery Associate, your job is simple. Whenever we lose contact with a Salvage Crew, we send you in to collect whatever they've happened to leave behind. Normally, there's nothing to wory about, but just on the off chance you encounter some trouble, remember these tips.
You have to navigate through derelict ships to collect scrap to fuel your survival. Scrap is your weapons and the ammunition that feeds them. Scrap is your blood and currency. Scrap is you and your enemy alike. Scrap is everything.
The workshop is where you'll spend your scrap to purchase upgrades. There you can purchase unique weaponry or over 50+ distinct upgrades. Your workshop will be the heart of your operation, and crafting items there will be the key to your continued existance.
Your time working for Albet Salvage will lead you to seeing various unusual locales. From flooded maintenance chambers to swarming alien hives, it's best to be on your toes and always have an exit plan. Danger can often come unexpected and fast, especially in the dark, abandoned vessels you'll find yourself in, so be ready to act in a minute's notice or risk losing your life.

Cute little game, surprisingly tense. Found a bug and the dev fixed it within a day.
so I dont tend to do this, but Ive seen opportunity. And now just looking, I neglected to look at release date. This doesnt say anything about early access, but it certainly is. I say that because I bought a very...bare game. however the developer just dropped a seemly decent update. Im placing this review on an absolutely fresh perspective, it has opportunity and is fleshing out. im posting this so people dont feel misled, this is a work in progress. ill stick it out and see what the dev does with it. im hoping for more, and im willing to absolutely willing to talk back anything that improves.
I like the atmosphere; the ships feel grimy and claustrophobic. Getting lost on some of the larger maps is just as dangerous as the aliens. Speaking of the aliens, they seem easy at first, but things can go south quickly. They flank you, you run out of bullets, etc. I've been enjoying the new update and am excited for the game's future!
It was more fun than I expected. It's a little slow in the beginning of the first map but for the price of a cup of coffee, I had a good time. I also really liked the main menu art. It's obviously a low budget game but that is fine. Also the flashlight was way stronger than I expected. I was thinking it was going to be one of those horror game flashlights where you can't see anything but no, it's a perfectly working flashlight and that is great. It also has an endless mode for those that want to break the game and push it to it's limits.
As mentioned by another review, this is very similar to the scrap mode in RE7's dlc. It scratches a super specific itch and I hope the dev continues to put out updates, I love this kind of thing. For some reason the game sometimes stutters for me though.
Fun little game, and given the price it's certainly worth a try. The progression model is pretty nice, the guns feel good, and even with the simplified graphics style it can be pretty creepy to see the enemies lumbering/diving towards you from the darkness. I've never left a review before, but I want this game to get some more attention so I figured another positive opinion wouldn't hurt.
