About
As a Salvage Crew Recovery Associate, your job is simple. Whenever we lose contact with a Salvage Crew, we send you in to collect whatever they've happened to leave behind. Normally, there's nothing to wory about, but just on the off chance you encounter some trouble, remember these tips.
You have to navigate through derelict ships to collect scrap to fuel your survival. Scrap is your weapons and the ammunition that feeds them. Scrap is your blood and currency. Scrap is you and your enemy alike. Scrap is everything.
The workshop is where you'll spend your scrap to purchase upgrades. There you can purchase unique weaponry or over 50+ distinct upgrades. Your workshop will be the heart of your operation, and crafting items there will be the key to your continued existance.
Your time working for Albet Salvage will lead you to seeing various unusual locales. From flooded maintenance chambers to swarming alien hives, it's best to be on your toes and always have an exit plan. Danger can often come unexpected and fast, especially in the dark, abandoned vessels you'll find yourself in, so be ready to act in a minute's notice or risk losing your life.

The real Killing Floor 3. But seriously, this is an awesome game. The guns feel good, the lighting is great. The Dev is active. 100% a buy.
Great game, was more than worth the $3. The min-maxing of resources is always fun, and having the roguelite elements of the special orders helps keeps levels fresh instead of just following the exact same play style every map.
i lov space trench:DDDD
I recommend! The retro throwback graphics and synth music were so fun. I really like what this developer was able to do and look forward to what else is in store. Love the game play loop, super addicting!
Very fun. I don't like how easy it is to get completely boned during a bossfight though. If you arent watching the clock, have little scrap and ammo, and dont have a melee weapon going into a bossfight its very easy to be left completely without a way to deal damage since scrap gain is disabled. Genuinely can't see why that's necessary. But thats a small nitpick, the game really is great
disturbingly fun game. uncomfortably love it. would play again
Fun little game that got addicting pretty quick, especially when you start figuring out the different mechanics, best ways to make scrap, efficient resource management etc. Loved the learning curve and progression. It gets a bit repetitive after a while though, and I hope there will be more content and gameplay variety in the future to make it really shine.
Suuuure!
It is an impressive effort for a solo dev, that's something with which I can agree. The graphics, lighting, art direction and environment design are great. However, the gameplay itself has some issues that should be worked out or improved. "Danger can often come unexpected and fast" - Enemies will spawn behind you at any given moment, and you may have no warning at all that this is the case until you start taking damage. There is little to no positional or directional audio in the game, which is a must for notifying the player of encroaching threats. Instead, the game uses a generic roar for the shambler-like enemies that tells you little other than they have spawned. At times, the roar doesn't even play. In addition, enemies easily and often clip into each other, making it difficult to visualize how many opponents you may be facing. It also leads to confusion when you kill an enemy, but the foe inside it is still alive and attacks. Secondly, critical hit registration is inconsistent - you'll nail the same spot on an enemy type, getting one-shot criticals, then suddenly they stop functioning, and you have to pump 3 rounds into the same spot to kill the foe. Are critical hits a % chance? If so, why, and what purpose does that serve? Is critical damage randomized? If so, why? What purpose would that serve? Are enemies growing stronger as time progresses? Maybe that is the case, but I saw nothing that notified me of this in the tutorial or anywhere else. The pistol is absolutely worthless; I am not even sure why it is an option as a weapon. The shotgun is the baseline weapon, and it seems as if the pistol is there as a means of wasting your scrap. A single clip cannot even kill basic enemies. Standard movement is painfully slow. Your only movement option is a forward sprint, which you will be doing all the time anyway, so why isn't this the standard movement speed? Why bother having "molasses" speed and then forcing the player to press a key to sprint? Regardless, this translates into you just sprinting down corridors and turning around to kill an enemy, then sprint forward again while reloading - repeat ad nauseam. It should be noted as well that this is not a roguelike, as there is a meta-game progression unlocked through repeated gameplay.
I won't say much about the graphics or sound, since you can get a pretty good idea from the trailer and the other reviews. If you can be okay with the very indie presentation, you will find a fun and challenging FPS with a lot of replayability. You can basically just grind levels for the many unlocks, and in doing so try many combinations of weapons and upgrades. Each run is going to be heavily shaped by the RNG and which upgrade options it offers you, but I've really enjoyed the variety of playstyles it forces you to adopt. Max run is 25 minutes long and you might die a bit, so most will be shorter. I pretty much always say this in reviews: it's not going to be for everyone. But if this is your niche, give it a try!
