Space Rift - Episode 1

Für mich war es ein echtes Erlebniss das spiel zu spielen da die Vr Qualität echt sehr ansprechend ist. Insbesondere beim fliegen des Raumschiffes tauchte man schon in eine andere Welt ab hätte gerne länger sein dürfen. Insofern freue ich mich schon auf die 2.Episode.

*review after having played 3/5 missions* Very cool VR space flight game. I like a lot that this is not an arcade wave shooter game but story driven with a very diverse gameplay. Only fights are a bit repetitive so far. Positive: + graphics, controls, voice acting (at least in german) Negative: - pause between missions at the station, controls there are not very good - the cursor buttons on both of my game pads do not work, so i need the keyboard in addition - during the missions (at least 2 and 3), there is a constant stream of random fighting (every few minutes, 3 drones jump in) - this is very repetitive All in all a good game.

This is still worth playing in 2022 IMO. Yeah, it is only 3 hours and ends on a cliffhanger that will not be resolved. But it is pretty good . It reminds me of the old wing commander games.

Zuerst einmal: Ich spiele das Spiel ohne eine VR- Brille. Trotzdem mach das Spiel eine sehr gute Figur und hat mir sehr gut gefallen: Story: Gute Story, wird sehr gut erzählt, mit fünf Kapiteln etwas kurz. Freue mich auf die nachfolgenden Episoden. Grafik: Vollkommen in Ordnung, sieht in VR vermutlich noch besser aus. Sound: Die Sprecher sind sehr gut, sowohl in deutschen als auch in der englischen Sprachausgabe. Steuerung: Lässt sich präzise mit dem Gamepad steuern, hab es sowohl mit dem STEAM Controller und dem XBOX360 Controller gespielt. Der Blickwinkel wird ohne eine VR-Brille mit dem rechten Stick/Touchpad bedient. Ich hatte nun Gelegenheit das Spiel mit entsprechender Hardware (Oculus) zu spielen und ich bin begeistert. Die Grafik wirkt, wie bereits angenommen, deutlich besser in VR und die Steuerung ist durch die Kopfbewegungen deutlich intuitiver. Durch das recht schnelle Spielgeschehen kann man aber schon eimal die Orientierung verlieren (sowohl im Spiel als auch in der Realität) dies kann zu Unwohlsein fürhen. Ich glaube dies ist aber ein Manko dieses Generes. Ich würde, entsprechende Hardware vorrausgesetzt, das Spiel empfehlen.

One of the best use of VR I have seen up to date. Simple and effective controls where being able to look around is actually useful and very impressive sceneries, varied enough missions and on top of that a storyline that puts everything together. It's short indie game, but the few things it does, it does them extremely well. Kudos to the developers for not trying to do too much and ending up with a mediocre hollow game. Looking forward for episode 2!

Nun was soll ich sagen, hier fehlt ganz klar der Feinschliff: Matschige oder einfarbige Texturen. -Wo ist denn der Schieber zum Erhöhen, ich hab doch so ne schnelle Grafikkarte. Keine HOTAS Unterstützung. - Och, mein Warthog kommt auch nicht zum Einsatz. Schlecht Synchronisiert. - Oft ist die Animation zu Ende und die Stimme labert immer noch weiter. Das Anfängliche Hintergrundbild ist grauenhaft und viel zu hell. - Leute das geht gar nicht, siht total Künstlich aus. Und so weiter und so weiter... Aber, das Spiel ist sehr stimmig und macht unbedingt Lust zum weiterspielen. Der Preis macht das ganze Negative zwar wieder wett, aber dennoch würde ich auch gerne mehr bezahlen für ein "fertigeres" Spiel. Trotz dem kann ich es unbedingt empfehlen! --Kaufen-spielen-Spass haben!!!---
