About
Space Engineers is an open world sandbox game about designing, building and testing your own space machines. Construct ships, stations and planetary bases in a fully destructible environment, then explore planets and space, mine resources, survive hazards and engage in combat alone or with friends in Creative or Survival modes.
Play solo or in multiplayer, from small co-op outposts to huge community servers. Start with a simple lander, grow into a mining and industrial empire, or focus on warships and planetary fortresses – the game gives you the tools and physics, you decide what to build.
Space Engineers uses a volumetric physics engine: every block and voxel has mass, inertia and damage. Ships break apart, stations crumble and terrain can be drilled, carved and reshaped, so your engineering choices really matter.
Space Engineers is grounded in real engineering and hard science fiction, driven by realism and plausible near-future technology. Think modern space programs extrapolated into the future: realistic ships, stations, tools and systems where everything is built and simulated block by block. It’s about the machinery you build, not about magic or scripted set-pieces.

Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; Xbox, PlayStation publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

This is a good game, lots of building and parts to let your imagination go free, but i do not recommend for players who cannot build complex builds like me, it can get very annoying trying to connect everything together. play if you want a challenge

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

best space engineering game =)
Love the game, love what Keen has been up to. I often buy their DLC immediately upon release and sometimes gift it to a friend if possible. Even if I don't end up playing it right away because I support what they're doing. I try to keep up with the news for SE1 and SE2 via community channels when possible. It has endless hours of replayability and as long as you're creatively inclined and self motivated, you'll hardly run out of things to do.
Good
good with friends
Has a fairly steep learning curve, but when played with friends it is possible to play. I can't imagine playing this game by yourself. Have to access certain items from a control panel, and some others you can't? It takes a-lot of finagling to get a working storage system. Game doesn't have a working inventory management system. It makes Minecraft look superb to this game - Somehow. Despite that, this is the only game where you can build space ships without you selling a second mortgage on your house. I build a ship, watch it crash, then curse at my monitor. Would play again. Music sends me chills.
Great game love the building an sandbox feel of creations from different games I would give it try.
game fun, welding is ass
Legos in space, now coming to your personal computer. Have fun. That being said, even with the recent changes the survival experience and progression is quite weak, which is somewhat of a shame given the sheer potential behind the game, but the creative aspect of the game is so good in itself that it makes it worth the purchase.
