About
Space Engineers is an open world sandbox game about designing, building and testing your own space machines. Construct ships, stations and planetary bases in a fully destructible environment, then explore planets and space, mine resources, survive hazards and engage in combat alone or with friends in Creative or Survival modes.
Play solo or in multiplayer, from small co-op outposts to huge community servers. Start with a simple lander, grow into a mining and industrial empire, or focus on warships and planetary fortresses – the game gives you the tools and physics, you decide what to build.
Space Engineers uses a volumetric physics engine: every block and voxel has mass, inertia and damage. Ships break apart, stations crumble and terrain can be drilled, carved and reshaped, so your engineering choices really matter.
Space Engineers is grounded in real engineering and hard science fiction, driven by realism and plausible near-future technology. Think modern space programs extrapolated into the future: realistic ships, stations, tools and systems where everything is built and simulated block by block. It’s about the machinery you build, not about magic or scripted set-pieces.

Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.

I honestly wish this had more content, its very simply a space building game, pirates are somewhat rare, traders mostly avoid you and don't really do anything or go anywhere they just spawn and despawn whenever they fly to far away, they aren't actually trading supplies between npc stations, the game just lacks content, mods exist to add factions but they're typically awful at scaling, example you build 2 or 3 gatlings to deal with spiders, mod added factions spawn ships that may or may not wander over and blast everything to pieces because you barely built basic defences as for themselves spiders they spawn in groups directly on the player in groups up to 10 every 20-30 minutes meaning you're fighting for your life and your typical response is to fly upwards away from it as the player character is so fragile, weapon handling is ass, weapons overall are kind of terrible for the player and turrets generally kill the player in 1-2 seconds after walking into a room due to how weak the player is and how powerful they are, there's no sort of body armor in vanilla to help with this only modded. Turrets also love blasting through your own stuff, I built a rotating solar farm and oxygen farm, gatling turret happily blasts it off while trying to shoot the most irrelevant drone within its radius It just kinda sucks, if you like building sure, but my time playing was spent using mods to bring life into the game, adding mod made npc crewmen to help build/weld/repair, adding roaming rovers that drive around on pertam, often smashing into rocks but fun to take my own rovers and vehicle designs against, plus adding stations, outposts, ruins etc to loot and explore but still not adding any real "you're in a space game go explore, explore what theres nothing here" The latest update tried to fill this in a bit, adding more encounters, missions to haul cargo, actually trying to spice life into the game but I'ma be real, I played this game years and years ago during steam free weekend before planets were even a thing and played the newest update, thats over 11 years ago and it hasn't really changed, basic space ship building game without much content. Its a decent game, but it just isn't there for me

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

annoying physic everything break all time everytime, small touch, it break, might even explode everything is place individual then very those individual have to manual "build" to make it function

Keen for the love of god, please fix your driver issues. I cannot fly or do anything without the game crashing, This has been an issue for over a year now and counting. This frequently occurs with 50 series cards. There are multiple threads on your your own site that have only been responded to by bots. Take some accountability and address these issues already.
bought this to play cross plat with a friend just to find out its only possible through public dedicated servers which defeated the purpose of buying this game
What a absalute joke... The games been out for how long now?? 10 Years? and the XBOX controllers still dont work the way they do on consoles! Just how? SE 2 is out and i wonder if the same problems are in that game too!? All i wanted to do is play the game on PC with better performance with the same lvl of inpute and control i got from a xbox controller... BUT NO.....
Really Fun Game But...
An amazing concept with pretty decent execution and what seems to be a good deal of content, unfortunately it seems that about half of it is locked behind piecemeal DLC content. And it's not just a matter of "oh just buy a DLC pack it's no big deal" because each DLC only adds a relatively small amount of content, so in order to purchase all the extra items (which the game really feels like it's missing a lot without them) your grand total is going to be almost $100 more than the base price of the game. I was really excited for this game and hoped missing the DLC wouldn't be such a problem, but unfortunately it kind of is. Edit: I bought the DLC, I have zero willpower and I hate myself.
I wanted to like it so much but the building system is abysmal ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
