Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.29/day in the week to Sep 11 → 3.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Soulbound is a pixel-art action-MMO where every dungeon run reshapes your build. Charge into roguelite dungeons with friends in 3-player co-op, chain devastating ability combos from 100+ combinations, and return to a living open world where you farm, craft, and uncover a mystery that runs deeper than any dungeon floor.
Soulbound splits its world in two: a shared overworld full of quests and adventure, and brutal instanced dungeons that never play the same way twice. Every floor reshuffles encounters, hazards, and loot and every room unlocks new relics that warp your abilities in ways you didn't plan for. This is a one of a kind MMO-meets-roguelite hybrid that fuses our favourite meta progression systems with the chaos of survivor-like combat.
Enter the dungeon and pick from 10+ abilities that create unique class builds with branching relic paths. Stack a chain-lightning relic on your mage's Pyrosphere and watch mobs evaporate. Layer life-steal onto a berserker's hammer and turn your AoE into a heal for your party. Every relic run offers new synergies you've never tried, and the best builds are the ones nobody planned.
As you swap your gear, you swap your class instantly. Tank for your friends on Monday, rain bullets on Thursday, your character is every class you want it to be, whenever you want it to be.
Step out of the dungeon and the pace shifts. Soulbound's open world is a shared space where thousands of players farm, gather, trade, and quest side by side. Tend your crops, fish a quiet river or stumble into a quest line that unlocks an ability you didn't know existed. The overworld is where you discover the skills and upgrades that make your next dungeon run deadly.
Every life skill feeds back into your progression with cooking restoring stamina, gathering unlocking crafting materials for gear and buffs and mining unlocking crafting stations to build the weapons that defines your class.
Gear in Soulbound does two things: makes you powerful and makes you you. Separate cosmetic slots mean your stats never dictate your style as you collect handmade, uniquely animated pixel-art armor sets, rare cosmetic drops, and companion pets. Mix and match freely and make your character look exactly how you want.
Every player gets their own base, and it's where your meta progression lives. Inside it, you construct and upgrade stations that unlock new gear tiers, potions that tip dungeon runs in your favor, and meals that push your stamina further. Decorate every room with furniture, trophies, and a full room-layout editor. Invite your friends and start building your guild base.
You awaken inside a digital universe that feels alive… but hostile. Early in your journey, you encounter The Anima, enigmatic and malevolent entities that overwhelm you with impossible force. Death isn’t the end, however. You’re recovered by a robotic rescuer and brought to your Virelda, a safe haven, workshop, and base of operations. As a Pioneer, you’ve got a lot to do before you can stand against The Anima.

Reviews
I'm afraid I can't recommend the game in its current state. As many other reviews have pointed out, the lack of content is a major issue, and the crafting grind is astonishing. Performance has improved greatly, and the developers do seem to listen to feedback and act on reported bugs (although bug reports don't earn points for the in-game store). Needing so many hours to craft endgame materials is simply insane, 1,5 hours for each T6 mat is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Buggy mess, core gameplay is fun when you can get past the cancerous story quests run here run there, maybe if it was free and you were very bored

just got the game today and enjoyed it until i saw a 1 minute crafting timer to get the fishing rod, and i wont be sticking around to find out how bad these timers get. my time sink is grinding dungeons and farming materials, not waiting however long for an item to be made. i would have been perfectly content if i needed to process materials and wait for that because it's something i'll probably always need more of, but if it says i have literally everything to make the finished product, i should instantly be able to get the damn finished product. i wont refund this, but hopefully it's changed in the future so i can come back and play what is otherwise a really well made game.
Incontáveis bugs.
I really really really liked the demo, the art, the gameplay and all. It had stutters, lag und some weird bugs, but just a demo and release not far away. So i did what i usually never do, buying an EA game with a lot of hope. And to think i paid for the biggest disappointment in gaming for the last several year makes me the idiot. I got an unplayable game, stuttering, lags and weird behaviour ingame even worse than the demo. Day 1 had 1,1k players.... so much, huge, such wow and nothing worked. It dropped to 200-300 within a few days and still not playable. Well, i'm an idiot, but i refunded and wait for end of EA (guess it will be abandoned before that).
The game is pretty good. The presentation is really great. Art and sound design are both on point. Music is a bit forgettable but non-offensive. Voice acting is minimal but when it's there it's serviceable. The gameplay is fun but a little shallow. Bullet heavan "dungeons" with life skilling. The combat portions are fun but a little under baked. The net code needs some work because the nit detection can be quite off. The life skilling is clunky, but if you like seeing the number go up it does the job. The stamina system takes the place of having spawn timers. Personally, I think it's not ideal but it does the job of binding in-game resources to irl time just like every mmo does. Apparently, there's some "drama" about previous games and potential monetization. All in all it seems like standard indie devs figuring things out as they go and then keyboard warriors interpreting everything in bad faith. Hopefully things improve because this game has some serious potential. They've been responding to bugs and generally active.
!!WARNING!!
A lot of the reviews here are written by people who have LIED previously in their lives!! And given promises that they have NOT KEPT! They are also actively supporting companies like Google, Microsoft, and Apple - some of the biggest scammers and AI users out there! Which means THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED! They have proven this again and again. Their comments and reviews are probably crypto-mining your computer RIGHT NOW! BE CAREFUL! Oh, and the game is fine, I guess? A bit buggy. Extremely zoomed in on larger monitors. Runs fine on Linux. Not really for me, though.
Unplayable due to lag. I think they're using a potato server. The game has so much potential but devs only care about early access money and left.
For who is this game? First of all - If you are looking to play a MMO, this game is not for you. - If you are looking to play a Bullethell Roguelike, this game is not for you. So for who is this game? - The game is for people that want to play a easygoing roguelike in a multiplayer format. - People that love to see a number go up - People that love to complete achievements (as of 27th of August 2026) Or - People that like to collect cute pets. So what are my gripes with this game as there is reason in my madness? (Absurd playtime in conflict with my negative review). Praise Lets start of with some praise - The customer support in this game is top notch and in my experience available within minutes to help you out when in need. So now we go into my gripes with the game and potential devs. - Patches Patches are most of the time lackluster in their content. And the moment they fix/change something for the better they fail to notice the effect of their changes or neither following up on them in a timely matter. So what do I mean with this. An easy example "the game sucks when playing with otherpeople" during the gathering part of this game. The devs realise this and make changes to spawnrates of resources and in the last patch even reduced stamina for resources of a lower tier. Yet when you go into the game this is still the case. Resources dont spawn quick enough there are to little resource nodes of certain tiers. All in all the game just sucks when you have to do any sort of gathering/collecting of resources when you are not the only player in the area. - Resource collection/gathering sucks when not alone. - The game is dreathfull in its MMO component and should just remove it for now. The game currently doesnt have enough player to actively play with otherplayer in the places where you would want otherplayers. But not only that there is currently only 1 supported way to interact with otherplayers as the other ways are either undercooked or straightup dreadfull. - Not enough players to matchmake for dungeons - Not enough players to find groups withing a reasonable time even when orginising it yourself through chat. - The trading system is dreadfull and straightup doesnt work half of the time, resorting in people having to drop items to eachother to trade them. - There is no markteplace/auctionhouse - There are no systems that would help players in playing the game in a multiplayer way apart from matchmaking that doesnt function due to lack of players. I will leave these points for what they are right now as there is no point in going into the minute details in this review. So to end why do I have this amount of play time? First of all almost non of my playtime is afk time, its been about 95-99% of active playtime. I think the game has potential: as collecting pets is overall fun, the cosmetics obtainable from various activeties are beatifull and overall I enjoyed the progresion of the game till late game quite a bit. But to be realistic you can finish the game in about 2 days of playtime with having done quite a bit of grinding to complete certain milestones/gearing thresholds. Every minute of gameplay after that is straight up grindfest gameplay, to obtain pets, cosmetics or cutting edge gear. PS. Sorry if the review isnt that coherent life has been hectic will revist this review and make it more flushed out at some point :D Just wanted to get my thoughts out there for now.
IDC about wipes as a new player, sometimes it's even fun to start from a clear page, but BRUH this servers is ASS. Stucking on a loading screen, VPN ins helping but making ping over 200ms. Seemed like a fun game to spend many hours of gring but even Bungie with their "TAPIR" made their game more playable and accessible
