I have a rule. A game should be valued at about $1 per hour for an Indie game, $2 for a AAA per hour. I have beat this game in under 3 hours completely, and it was highly repetitive which is fine because it sells itself as a sorting game. That's literally all you do. The most enjoyable part was stamping papers lol. Since I didn't get at least 5 hours of gameplay out of a $5 indie game, it violates the rule and thus I have to say it's overpriced for what it is and what it offers.
Cool game, but the last two achievements (sorting 6000 items and using every desk variant at least once) felt pretty tedious. 7.2/10

Sorting Inc is a relaxing puzzle simulation developed and published by AstroTechnician that proves even the simplest concepts can become highly engaging when paired with thoughtful design. Instead of focusing on dramatic storytelling or fast-paced action, the game centers on the satisfying process of sorting everyday objects into their proper categories. Players step into the role of a new employee working their way through the company's various departments, gradually learning increasingly complex sorting techniques while completing a series of carefully designed challenges. Its straightforward premise is supported by polished mechanics that encourage concentration, organization, and a steady sense of accomplishment. The gameplay revolves around identifying and organizing different objects according to changing rules. While the basic mechanics are easy to understand, each new department introduces fresh ideas that steadily increase the level of complexity. Players must pay close attention to visual details, patterns, and categories as they progress through 30 handcrafted levels spread across six unique workplace environments. Rather than relying on artificial difficulty spikes, the game builds its challenge naturally by expanding upon previously learned mechanics, making progression feel rewarding without becoming frustrating. One of the game's biggest strengths is its calming approach to puzzle solving. Sorting Inc intentionally avoids stressful mechanics such as countdown timers, harsh penalties, or competitive scoring systems. Players are free to work at their own pace, allowing each task to become a relaxing exercise in observation and logical thinking. This slower rhythm creates a surprisingly therapeutic experience that rewards careful planning over quick reflexes. Although there is no pressure to finish rapidly, many players will likely find themselves naturally improving their efficiency as they become more familiar with each sorting challenge. Presentation complements the gameplay exceptionally well. The clean visuals make every object easy to distinguish, reducing unnecessary distractions while maintaining an inviting aesthetic. Each department features its own distinct appearance, helping the overall experience remain visually fresh throughout the campaign. Cosmetic desk customizations provide additional incentives for progression, while a mellow lo-fi soundtrack reinforces the peaceful atmosphere from beginning to end. Together, the visuals and audio establish an environment that perfectly suits the game's relaxing philosophy. Accessibility is another welcome feature. The inclusion of multiple color palette options makes the game more approachable for players with varying visual needs, especially since color recognition plays an important role in several puzzles. Combined with straightforward controls and modest hardware requirements, the game remains accessible to a broad audience. Steam achievements and unlockable cosmetic rewards also provide additional goals for completionists who wish to revisit levels and refine their performance after finishing the main campaign. Despite its many strengths, Sorting Inc is intentionally focused on a niche gameplay loop. Players seeking deep narrative content, competitive multiplayer, or endless replayability may find its scope somewhat limited. Once every department has been completed, replay value largely depends on achievement hunting, experimenting with more efficient sorting methods, or simply revisiting the relaxing puzzles. Fortunately, the game's consistent quality and satisfying mechanics help maintain its appeal for those who appreciate cozy, low-pressure experiences. Overall, Sorting Inc successfully transforms the ordinary act of organizing objects into an enjoyable and rewarding puzzle adventure. Its gradual progression, relaxing pace, polished presentation, and accessible design create an experience that remains engaging without relying on unnecessary complexity. AstroTechnician demonstrates that strong gameplay does not require elaborate mechanics when the core concept is executed with care. Fans of cozy puzzle games and players looking for a stress-free experience will likely find plenty to enjoy in this charming workplace simulation. Rating: 8/10

Очень приятная игра, золото за свои деньги, особенно приятно порадовали сообщения о том, что иногда надо делать перерывы и бесконечный режим после прохождения всех уровней
意外地还挺好玩的
