SOPA - Tale of the Stolen Potato

We had a great time playing this game with my family! Super interactive, engaging, and family friendly! The visuals are also incredible, unique, very cinematic, and reminded me of my Latin origins, especially given the stories my dad would tell me growing up. I would recommend this game 100%!

Super cute and fun narrative puzzle game! Truly enjoyable and the story it tells brings to life a lot of childhood feelings, love it.

Short, but very cute story. I enjoyed petting Fuego <3 The art was good and the characters were felt like they were based on people the writer knew. They only critiques I have are that there is a lot of pop-in for the models and lighting as well as the camera can get unwieldy in places like the Black Market. Other than that the experience was smooth and there was just enough hints to keep the flow solid without having to spend too much time thinking about where to check for things. 8/10, Solid game.

This game has a bit of Unity jank, in particular with the camera, it's a fixed camera so sometimes you're fighting it, but the way your mother looks at you is just so heartwarming I found it really charming. Aesthetically pretty, and plays like an adventure game, so be prepared for that.

SO GOOD! A story about making soup, pursuing justice, braving river rapids, life inside the belly of a ravenous beast, and more. Plays great on steamdeck.

This game was a wonderful surprise. I live for indies and the puzzles and story wrapped up in this game are the perfect combo for a cozy night of gaming. I was able to complete it in 4 hours, missing only a few achievements. The art style and color scope will draw you in. My only gripe is some of the puzzles could use a litter clearer direction (but that could also just be a me problem). I recommend this game if you're a fan of cozy, indies, puzzles, or all 3. The conclusion pays off well

Such CHARM!!! If you ♥♥♥♥ with Grim Fandango and Sam & Max, you'll dig on Sopa. So funny and clever, and such a sense of heart. I lol'ed so many times. Also kinda has that old school, Never Ending Story/Lion Witch & Wardrobe mystical vibe. Where things feel mythical and close to reality but also kinda off. I really enjoyed it.

SOPA é um jogo que entrega bastante riqueza, tanto de ambientação, quanto graficamente falando. A história te envolve e acaba te prendendo, sendo difícil parar, eu com certeza voltarei para ele em breve. O jogo é um "passeio pela mente" criativa de uma criança, onde você se aventura para recuperar as batatas roubadas da sopa da sua Nana. O nosso personagem passa por poucas e boas durante o jogo que me lembraram as aventuras que eu criava em minha mente na minha infância enquanto fazia as tarefas mais básicas do dia a dia. Sinto falta apenas de uma tradução em PT-BR para o jogo, seria muito bom se tivesse esta opção.

This game was such a colorful delight. I loved the wacky little characters we met throughout and all the absurd situations we were put in. The music and soundscape were lovely. Everything feels whimsical and magical. The camera could be a little bit wonky from time to time but not in a way that was game breaking.
