Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5.71/day in the week to Aug 13 → 18.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

spaßiger Funracer
I own previous sonic racer games and they were on the "filler time until the next game", than you had to fork serious money to build the alternatives CTR or Mk8. Tbh i bought this game with very little expectatives, but oh boy i was wrong, very wrong to the point that for what i played it will be hard to play other kart-like game. Its fun, its chaotic, a lot of content from character roster/cosmetics, to pimping your car as you wish to look a mona lisa or a aberration, to try combos of gear to suit you playstyle. The only con is the tracks are good on how they are setup, but some look nice (visually) meanwhile others for some reason have very low res textures, in 2025 (now 2026) even a weakass Switch 2 can handle more, let alone the consoles and PC, maybe HD texture pack one day??? But this is a good deal, in special on sale (deluxe version) and despite my con above, PC only gamers have a GOOD kart racing game to play. No need to buy a mega-inflated-console to have some fun! But beware, there is a steep learning curve but at the same time its easily ignored because the game is so damn fun! This review was sponsored by Bikini Bottom Racing Academy. 14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I bought this game back when it was a digital delux pre-order and the game is extremely well optimized. It's also a lot more fun than mario kart or really any other kart racer i've played in a while. There's a lot of content to progress through and unlock on top of that. The game runs at a smooth 120 fps on my hardware. It runs a smooth 75 fps on my ROG Ally on medium graphic settings if you're wondering about handhelds. From what I heard from a friend, the game runs really well on steam deck as well. I highly recommend this game if you like kart racers. (extras) Modding the game is very simple due to it using unreal engine, it allows for paks to just be imported easily, the devs allow for modding on the game, AS LONG AS IT DOESN'T EFFECT ONLINE MATCHES. like cheats and stuff. It's very simple with a big modding community making it very basic for anyone to mod on anything.
Sure, Mario Kart is more polished... But here you get to keep your soul and dignity intact! Game is fun as hell, runs well even on a handheld, For everyone crying about it being locked at 60 or 30fps? Keyword is LOCKED. If that were 60 most of the time dropping to 50-55 now n then it would be different but it locks it to the highest frame rate your system can handle between the two and keeps it there consistently.
Legitimately such a phenomenal karting game. I just wish there were more skins besides the AI racer skins, or just more things to unlock in general. Otherwise I don't feel too compelled to try to grind for tickets. The skins are maybe the one thing Mario Kart World has over this game in my book
Something what i really like about this game is, this isn't a generic fun racer where sonic and its friends were thrown in. Instead its a Racer where you can tell that the developers wanted it to be as close as possible to a sonic game as possible. You can collect Red Rings on every Race Track, which is part of most 3D Sonic games since Sonic Colours, the Time Trial Mode gives you a rank depending on your skills. A lot of Racing Tracks are based on older Sonic Titles which is really cool. The Soundtrack didn't resonate with me, but thats likely do to the fact, that because of the crossworld system, the games unique selling point to difference itself from other fun racers. The music tracks changes in the second round of every race, because the race track itself changes and then in the third round you hear a different version of the first rounds track. Also the Implementation of the DLCs is really half baked. None of the DLC Characters are voiced (There is a mod which fixes this), they are not included in the games rival system, and you see them only in the games offline modes if you decide to drive them. Some DLC Characters also have additional Music Tracks but a lot of them a limited to the games jukebox, so you cant hear them while playing the game. The DLC Race Tracks itself are cool, i really liked the one based on Pac-Man World 2 Repac. But imo the tracks alone are not worth 30 bucks. But the half baked DLC aside, this is considering what it wants to be a cool fun racer, which has a surprising amount of singleplayer content (for a fun racer) Also it looks good, and runs flawlessly on low end devices like the steam deck, you can get 60FPS without using upscalers like FSR,DLSS or using Frame Generation Tools like Lossless Scaling. Is it worth 70 or even 90 Bucks? That depends on what type of gamer you are. If you are someone who only plays games until you see the credits and that's about it and then you start the next then the Answer is no. You're not the target audience of this game if that is the case. This is a Sonic Game for People who want to play a Sonic Game with their friends, family, colleagues. And it is targed at People who like to unlock stuff like additional characters, parts for their carts, Achievements, and just want short lived fun, like coming home for example after a long day of school or work and just want to play a few rounds of (insert game here) before going to bed. I can recommend it in a sale, i got the Deluxe Edition with all the DLC for 30 bucks. The Single Player is alright, and if you want to play this game online or offline with other People it's an experience that is worth your time and money. And do to the fact that this game has crossplay with every console that released the last 13 Years, you dont need to worry about not finding enough players any time soon. But i hope the next Sonic Project is not a spin off, and itstead its the next big 3D Sonic.
Bockt mega
Worth the sale price! It has a rouge the bat SA2 proportions mod on GameBanana!
One of the best cart racers that I have ever played, especially after the previous Sonic racing game. With a bigger roster, reintroducing extreme gear and it feels like when I first played Sonic and sega all star racing. Definitely recommend this entry to anyone getting into the Sonic racing games.
SHADOW!!! just yes play the game, i hope more characters are added eventually but otherwise i have no notes.
