Characters have unique interactions with each other through the new Rival system, which randomly picks a character each race to be your Rival who will be faster, smarter, and more challenging. Defeat them for bonus rewards and even more special dialogue.

Reviews
This game is WAY better than mario kart in my opinion, it adds alot of content and very interesting features and tries to change its own formula unlike mario games
Big the Cat
I've always been a fan of the sonic and sega racers. I even enjoyed Team Sonic Racing for how content bare that was. So I jumped right on this one upon release and it's taken me this long to review it because I've just been so addicted to it. The Gadget system allows for some wonderful theory crafting for builds. The randomization element with tracks and the custom soundtrack makes every race a curveball. Getting those time trial A ranks is engaging and teaches you a lot about the tracks. Stealing wins online with proper item use is always a huge dopamine hit. The price is steep for sure, so wait for a sale. Also RELEASE THE WEREHOG FROM HIS PRE ORDER SHACKLES YOU COWARDS!
its basically mario kart it good
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is a massive step up in almost every way. The gameplay is by far the most fun I've had in a racing game, and I'm not surprised in the slightest since the developers are the same behind the Initial D arcade games (which are insanely fun btw). Unfortunately, I genuinely don't care about any of the new content this game has gotten so far outside of maybe Tangle & Whisper. I don't mind crossovers, but not when it's the only content this game seems to be getting. We already got Spongebob, Minecraft, Pac-Man, Angry Birds, and this year alone we'll be getting Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (and not the good version of them) and Evangelion. The worst part though? None of the characters are voiced at all despite the game being sold full price on launch, which is already expensive to me and very likely the main reason it didn't sell well. Genuinely, why? I have no reason to play this game any further outside of festivals with friends, which is a shame. This review should be considered as mixed, but I'll go with positive just because the gameplay hard carries.
juego todo hermoso, muy bien optimizado y bueno con respecto a gráficos.
one of the best kart racers I've ever played
If you're trying to decide between this and Mario Kart World, pick Mario Kart. If you want to play a solid kart racer and don't have access to Mario Kart World, this is a great choice. Although, there are some things like boat and plane controls that somehow don't feel as good as they did way back in Racing Transformed. The Kart customization is way better here than anything Mario Kart ever had tho.

Mario kart world is a beta male and sonic racing cross worlds is an alpha male
