Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 3 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Bardzo dobra gra paragrafowa. Polecam.
Buggy, very easy to end up to end up in situations where buttons do nothing and you're unable to progress.
A fun and addictive dark survival RPG where we play as a scavenger exploring a grim and ever-changing labyrinth known as the Wreckage. As we navigate through the Wreckage's treacherous corridors, we scavenge for scrap, food and old knowledge while battling all kind of enemies, or either making rewarding or dangerous encounters. The game doesnt hold your hand and requires at first careful ressource management in order to survive. It offers 2 different story modes, each with 2 or 3 possible endings and unique types of events and companion. There are also 3 sandbox modes that challenge the player ability to survive past a certain amount of days. I am hoping for more content to be added in the future!

pretty good even though the shaman begins to speak polish if you speak to him twice before leaving camp.
Like the endless quest books from back in the day, but with a larger variety of outcomes. The game has a simple yet pleasing-to-the-eye art style. It doesn't seem like it should hook me so hard with that "Just One More Turn" feeling and yet it does. I like games that do more with less and Songs of Rats certainly does that.
The game is interesting, with a good graphic atmosphere and gameplay that's easy to pick up because it's so simple. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a fun little game without too much ambition. However, beware if you're looking for a complex experience: the content is fairly light (I finished the game 100% in 3 hours, even if the achievements bugs don't give me credit), there are actually very few game mechanics, and it's very (VERY) repetitive. The game would have benefited from a greater variety of content, so as to not constantly redo the same rooms, and to make the stats useful (they're only useful for two things, and it's apparently pointless to increase them above 6 or 7, which makes runs above the 25-30ish day boring). It's a bit overpriced in Europe for the length and content, but I enjoyed it.
The game overall is very nice from aesthetics to game play and i will admit that if you unlucky u wont get far but once u get the ball rolling it can be really fun and even sometimes if you have enough supplies and equipment you can even face some of the more harder encounters so in my opinion its a nice game to relax and enjoy the story that unfolds as you play.
I love this game, before anything else is said, I want to say that. This gets my endorsement 100% However there are some bugs and issues that can be hard to overlook for some people. The story of the game is good, and had me wanting more from this world, the art is great, and leads back into me wanting more from this world, the exploration requires more planning than I was originally expecting, and the decisions have tangible consequences. The music is also a standout, and feels right at home with something you'd hear in a horror sifi adventure. Now, there are some issues. Not major ones-at least to me-but ones that should be known before going into it. Features from the demo, such as naming your character, aren't present in the full game. Although the music audio can be turned down, in game sounds effects cannot. Sometimes the image won't match the text of what you did, or what room you explored. (Although that's rare.) The music feels like it's from a horror sifi adventure, so it can feel kind of generic or uninspired to some. I don't mind it, but I'm sure that's a negative to some people. Until you understand the back and forth you need with combat and item management, the first few runs will seem like a day at the ball crushing factory, and other the other hand, when you do get the flow of it all, it can feel repetitive choosing the same few good options in a slew of bad, but survivable ones. Outside of the top notch VA work in the opening cutscene when you start a run, it is entirely unvoiced. I only bring this up, because it made me think I would have VO for important moments in the story. Obviously, VA work is not, and should not be free, but it caught me off guard. All that being said, from my understanding, this is a two dev team, and I absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love what they've put out so far. So take all my negatives with a touch of salt, as I'm sure these issues are to be addressed, and more content and refinement is to come, when the devs are able to do so.
Je retrouve vraiment l'atmosphère des livres dont vous êtes le héros. Les Run sont tellement rapide et stratégique . Mais punitif, si jamais tu vas trop vite
Songs of Rats is a dark, narrative-driven roguelike RPG developed by Tesseract Games and published by Salient Games. The game places players in a bleak science-fiction world where the remnants of civilization survive among the ruins of a once-advanced society. Rather than presenting a conventional heroic adventure, the game frames its story around survival, decay, and the fragile persistence of humanity in an unforgiving environment. With its mixture of roguelike exploration, text-driven storytelling, and atmospheric worldbuilding, Songs of Rats aims to deliver a contemplative and often unsettling journey through a labyrinthine world known as the Wreckland. The setting of the game is one of its most compelling aspects. Humanity now lives like scavengers among the broken remains of ancient megastructures, derelict starships, and forgotten technology. These ruins form a shifting maze referred to as the Wreckage, a mysterious environment filled with dangers, secrets, and fragments of lost history. Players assume the role of a wanderer who ventures into this dangerous labyrinth in search of resources, knowledge, and perhaps some trace of meaning in a dying world. The narrative unfolds gradually through encounters, discoveries, and written fragments scattered throughout the environment. Instead of delivering a straightforward plot, the game encourages players to piece together the history of this fallen civilization through exploration and observation. Gameplay revolves around roguelike expeditions into the Wreckland. Each journey into the maze is unpredictable, with different events, enemies, and encounters appearing during every run. The environment itself feels alive and unstable, reinforcing the idea that the Wreckage is constantly shifting and reshaping itself. Players must carefully manage resources such as supplies, equipment, and stamina while navigating this hostile world. Poor decisions can quickly lead to failure, forcing players to restart and attempt another expedition with new strategies. Decision-making is at the heart of the experience. Throughout their journey, players are confronted with numerous narrative choices that influence how events unfold. These moments often involve moral dilemmas, dangerous opportunities, or strange encounters with other survivors and creatures inhabiting the ruins. Some choices may offer immediate rewards but carry long-term risks, while others require players to sacrifice resources in exchange for safety or information. Because the outcomes are rarely predictable, players are constantly forced to weigh their options and accept the consequences of their decisions. Character progression plays an important role in shaping each run. Players develop their protagonist through a variety of attributes that represent physical endurance, mental resilience, and spiritual strength. These traits affect how the character handles encounters and determines the range of options available during narrative events. Equipment also plays a crucial role in survival. Weapons, protective gear, and other items can be discovered within the ruins, helping players face increasingly dangerous threats as they explore deeper into the labyrinth. Companions are another interesting aspect of the game’s design. During their travels, players may recruit allies who join them on their journey through the Wreckland. These companions contribute to both combat encounters and story interactions, adding personality and additional narrative layers to the experience. Each companion has their own abilities and perspective on the world, and their presence can influence how certain events unfold. Even the inclusion of a loyal dog companion adds a small but meaningful emotional element within an otherwise harsh and unforgiving setting. Combat encounters occur frequently as players explore the maze. These battles emphasize tactical decision-making and preparation rather than fast-paced action. Players must carefully consider their resources, equipment, and party composition before engaging hostile enemies. The creatures that inhabit the Wreckland range from desperate scavengers to grotesque mutants shaped by the decay of the world around them. Every fight carries a sense of risk, reinforcing the idea that survival in this environment is never guaranteed. Visually, Songs of Rats adopts a minimalist artistic style that enhances its bleak atmosphere. The environments are stark and often abstract, filled with shadowy structures, metallic ruins, and fragmented landscapes. Instead of relying on highly detailed graphics, the game uses its visual design to evoke a feeling of isolation and decay. The sparse environments help focus attention on the narrative and exploration rather than spectacle. Complementing the visuals is a haunting soundscape that reinforces the oppressive mood of the world. A unique thematic element within the game is its emphasis on hope as a survival mechanic. Throughout their journey, players must maintain a sense of purpose despite the overwhelming despair surrounding them. Certain decisions strengthen the protagonist’s resolve, while others may erode their mental state. This subtle system ties the gameplay to the broader themes of resilience and the struggle to retain humanity in a collapsing world. It adds an emotional layer to the experience that extends beyond simple survival mechanics. While Songs of Rats succeeds in creating a compelling atmosphere and thoughtful narrative structure, its minimalist approach may not appeal to every player. The heavy reliance on text-based storytelling and abstract environments means that those expecting cinematic presentation or fast-paced gameplay may find the experience slower and more introspective than typical RPGs. Additionally, the randomness inherent in roguelike design can occasionally lead to frustrating outcomes, especially when difficult encounters appear early in a run. Despite these limitations, the game stands out for its willingness to explore philosophical themes rarely addressed in traditional RPGs. By focusing on survival, memory, and the remnants of lost civilizations, Songs of Rats creates a world that feels both haunting and meaningful. Each expedition into the Wreckland becomes more than a simple gameplay loop—it becomes a meditation on what remains after the fall of empires and the fragile determination required to continue moving forward. Overall, Songs of Rats is a distinctive and atmospheric indie RPG that blends roguelike mechanics with narrative exploration in a way that feels both thoughtful and experimental. Its bleak world, unpredictable encounters, and emphasis on player choice create a journey that is as reflective as it is challenging. While its minimalist presentation and unforgiving structure may limit its appeal for some audiences, players who enjoy narrative-driven roguelikes and philosophical science-fiction settings will find a unique and memorable experience.
