The game has a lot of potential, but NPCs need a serious re-work...the romancable characters are all either rude, selfish, act like babies, or down right have mental illnesses :P There is only one of all the bachelors that I would even consider romancing, and same with the batchelorettes. I really hope the devs change their personalities to actually be attractive, cause right now I wouldn't even want to befriend the NPCs, their personalities actually make me want to avoid them... Also, the mayor has the voice acting of an old man, and the dialog of an old man, but he doesn't have any grey hair at all and looks like he is 12.....All the NPCs should really have a visual re-work as well, to actually match their personalities and ages better. Right now they all look like they are 12.... The last thing I noticed, is that the space that you can place things down (especially outside) is very limited, with an unreasonable amount of space around the item, so you can't place items close together like you would see in real life. I find this frustrating from a decorating standpoint. Other than that though, I enjoy everything else about the game :)

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Decent farming games. Graphics and game play is fun enough to keep you engaged The dialogue, however, are extremely silly and juvenile, and not in a campy way. It's just weird. The mine system is just simply bizarre (You can't go down, just jump down)
I really wanted to like this, but I couldn't play it. At all. The controller option SAID it was there, but it wouldn't save, so that toggle was broken. Then the game played on my other screen without being prompted or anything changing. Then all sound was gone.
Has the My Time At (Portia and Sandrock) vibes especially with crafting and such, does miss a few marks which I wish they brushed up on and polished more, but it hits the nail and does its job, I enjoyed my 60 hours on it, not done with the game lot more to do, but I have so many more games to play that I may return in the future to have another go around. But I will recommend if you like the MY TIME games, one thing I wish this had was better farm building and the chance to put furniture an stuff in the house and move things, lacking of that actually none of it as it all upgrades as one thing.
i am having the hardest time understanding this game and wish it would be on Nintendo switch 2 so maybe i could undestand it better i have a learning disability
This game is awesome, the graphics are awesome...the plants and animals are awesome and sooo cute omg...I flippin love this game...The hardest thing to find...are the flower tail beasts...otherwise this game is AWESOME.
Song Of The Prairie is a cozy farming and life simulation RPG developed by The Droplet Studio and published by AOE Plus that blends traditional farming mechanics with town restoration, romance, exploration, crafting, and fantasy-inspired storytelling. While the game clearly takes inspiration from popular life simulators, it introduces its own identity through a vibrant setting, an emphasis on rebuilding a struggling community, and a large cast of characters who play important roles in the player's journey. The result is an experience that aims to provide both the relaxing routines of farm life and the long-term satisfaction of helping an entire town flourish. The adventure begins when the player arrives in a remote settlement that has seen better days. The town's economy has weakened, its population has diminished, and many of its residents are struggling to maintain hope for the future. Rather than simply focusing on personal success, players become actively involved in restoring prosperity to the region. Every crop harvested, building improved, and quest completed contributes to the growth of the community. This larger objective gives daily activities greater purpose and creates a strong sense of progression throughout the game. Farming remains the central gameplay mechanic and serves as the foundation for nearly everything else. Players cultivate a wide variety of crops, manage fields through changing seasons, care for animals, and gather valuable resources. The farming systems are easy to understand, making the game accessible to newcomers while still providing enough depth to remain engaging over time. Watching a neglected plot of land transform into a thriving farm creates a rewarding sense of accomplishment that lies at the heart of the experience. Animal husbandry expands the agricultural side of the game by allowing players to raise livestock and produce additional resources. Caring for animals becomes part of the daily routine, helping create the comforting cycle of tasks that farming simulation fans often enjoy. These activities integrate naturally into the economy, providing additional income streams and supporting crafting and production systems. The social features are among the game's strongest qualities. The town is populated with numerous residents, each possessing unique personalities, backgrounds, and individual storylines. Through conversations, gifts, and quests, players gradually build relationships with these characters and learn more about their lives. These interactions help make the town feel lively and personal rather than simply functioning as a collection of non-playable characters. Many residents undergo their own development throughout the story, making relationship-building feel genuinely meaningful. Romance plays a significant role as well. Players can pursue relationships with various eligible characters, each offering their own events, conversations, and personal narratives. The romantic storylines are given enough attention to feel like an important part of the overall experience rather than an afterthought. As relationships deepen, players gain access to new scenes and opportunities that strengthen emotional investment in the world and its inhabitants. Exploration provides a welcome change of pace from daily farm management. Beyond the boundaries of the town lie forests, magical regions, resource-rich landscapes, and hidden locations waiting to be discovered. These areas contain valuable materials, side quests, collectibles, and secrets that encourage players to venture beyond their farms. The fantasy elements woven into the setting help create a greater sense of wonder and distinguish the world from more traditional rural life simulators. Crafting and customization further enrich the experience. Players can create tools, furniture, decorations, and various improvements that enhance both the farm and the town. Home decoration allows for personal expression, while larger construction projects contribute directly to community development. Seeing the settlement gradually evolve as a result of the player's efforts is one of the game's most satisfying aspects. Visually, Song Of The Prairie embraces a bright anime-inspired aesthetic that complements its relaxing atmosphere. Character models are colorful and expressive, while the environments feature lush fields, charming architecture, and attractive seasonal changes. The art direction prioritizes warmth and comfort, creating a world that feels inviting from the moment players arrive. The visual style may not be groundbreaking, but it succeeds in supporting the game's cozy identity. The soundtrack enhances this atmosphere with a collection of calm and pleasant musical themes. Whether tending crops, exploring the countryside, or interacting with townsfolk, the music consistently reinforces the game's laid-back tone. Combined with the colorful presentation, the audio helps create an experience that encourages players to slow down and enjoy the rhythm of everyday life. One of the game's greatest strengths is the variety of activities available. Players are rarely limited to a single objective. On any given day they can focus on farming, fishing, gathering resources, building relationships, exploring new regions, completing quests, decorating their home, or contributing to town development. This variety helps prevent repetition and ensures there is always something meaningful to work toward. The game is not without flaws. Technical issues, occasional bugs, translation inconsistencies, and some balancing concerns have been reported by portions of the community. Certain systems feel less polished than those found in larger-budget competitors, and some mechanics may occasionally lack refinement. However, these shortcomings do not completely undermine the experience, particularly for players willing to overlook rough edges in exchange for a wealth of content and charm. What ultimately makes Song Of The Prairie enjoyable is its focus on community. While many farming simulators center primarily on personal growth, this game constantly reminds players that their actions help shape the future of an entire town. The combination of agriculture, romance, exploration, crafting, and civic improvement creates a satisfying sense of belonging that grows stronger with each passing season. For fans of life simulation games, Song Of The Prairie offers a relaxing and content-rich adventure filled with warmth, creativity, and rewarding progression. Although it occasionally struggles with technical polish, its engaging cast, enjoyable farming systems, fantasy setting, and emphasis on rebuilding a community help it stand apart from many similar titles. It is a charming experience that captures the comforting appeal of the genre while providing enough unique ideas to keep players invested for dozens of hours. Rating: 8/10
