Soma Spirits is a little RPG that will keep you interested thanks to its endearing characters, its entertaining gameplay and, mostly, the moral conflicts in which you'll take part. The game presents as a modest story about trying to deal with difficult circumstances and emotions and the decisions bounded to them, with an original take on classic turn-based combat on top of that. You shouldn't expect heavy stuff, but it does great being what it is, and the love and attention to detail put into this game are evident. However, there are times when the large number of encounters can feel like a chore. Far from a deal breaker, the game isn't unbalanced at all, and I guess this can be solved by lowering the difficulty settings, which can be done at any point. I even went for the extra content as I finished the game because the combat is actually fun, but I do think the pace can suffer a bit because of that minor issue. I recommend it specially to lovers of the genre in the mood for a good lighthearted story. If you liked it, check out the sequel, Soma Union, which seems to me like an improvement in every aspect of this already enjoyable title. Or if you come from already having played Soma Union, I can tell you'll enjoy Soma Spirits with no doubt.

Seçimlerinizin dünyanın kaderini belirlediği renkli bir RPG macerasında, Soma'nın koruyucu ruhları Heart and Soul'a bölünmüş bir diyarda rehberlik edin.
Great free game. The story, puzzles and humorous dialogue are big positives. The main downside is the combat; I liked the idea of the protagonists switching roles depending on which world you're in, but the battles get repetitive and tedious quite quickly. There are a few possible endings, but you'll probably only want to play through once. My suggestion for a sequel or new game would be a bigger focus on story, quests and puzzles and a bit less combat. Overall, a good experience and definitely worth a look.
In general the game is quite good, although the dialogues could be shorter since it gets heavy at times, decent free-to-play rpg that is good to pass the time.
So far this has been a lovely, quirky little SNES-style RPG. The characters and world are very amusing and I'm really taking my time to explore everything in both worlds and take in the atmosphere. The game was clearly made with care, and it's great to see an RPG Maker game with entirely unique and hand-crafted graphics. Since the game has recently been made free, there's no excuse not to give it a go!
