The nice graphics and the undemanding difficulty makes it an enjoyable experience, alas a very short one - it took me slightly over 1h to get through the whole game. However, finishing the story unlocks two other modes: an [i]endless mode[/i] in which you will be able to play randomly generated levels one after another and a [i]divination mode[/i] which features different variations of the solitaire game. What [i]Solitaire Mystery: Stolen Power[/i] lacks though are the powerups. There are no special bonuses charging over time and no one-time spells that you can use. However, I didn’t feel that they were needed in the first place, because the game’s difficulty is accessible enough as it is. In addition to that, the deck of cards that you use to build your solitaire sequences contains a huge amount of cards (I managed to run out of them only twice in the whole game, towards the end), plus you have unlimited undos. Si l'idée de base de marier solitaire + objets cachés était plutôt bonne, la réalisation ici pique les yeux...! Un jeu de 52 cartes magiques a été volé et dispersé par une personne mal intentionnée. Il va falloir remettre la main sur ces dernières en accomplissant des parties, parfois classiques, parfois de paires, parfois d'objets cachés, pour réunir le tout. La musique est redondante, les animations sont lentes et ponctuées de bruitages irritants sur le long terme. Les parties s'enchaînent sans que j'en ai perdu une seule, (je ne sais pas si c'est possible au final !?!) Une fois achevé, vous débloquez la possibilité de jouer à 4 modes de jeux différents, mais honnêtement, je ne m'y suis pas attardée. Je déconseille...sans intérêt ni challenge. Dommage. 5€ pour 1h de trame principale fade...non merci.

The game is a decent enough Solitaire title, but the journal (the thing that contains the entire story and information about everything you're doing) is [url=http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1268352072]stuck in Russian[/url]. I can't read Russian and I shouldn't need to, given that the game is advertised as being in English. Even the pictures on the store page show it in English, but it's not and there are NO options to change this. Oddly enough, everything except the journal is, in fact, in English. So there's something very weird going on here. If you don't care what's happening (and admittedly, story in these titles aren't the greatest), maybe it won't bother you, and if that's the case, there's some enjoyment to be had here. That said, until this problem is fixed, I am forced to give it a thumbs down. The only saving grace is that it's currently on a huge sale right now (90% off) which means that despite the negative review and inability to read the journal, it's simply not worth refunding for $1.09 CAD.

Okay, so... UH?! I enjoy Solitaire games and I appreciate that this one tried to offer both of the most common types of card solitaires found on Steam -- Pyramid Solitaire (I'd call it a Fairway clone but the present game has no power-ups, so really it's just a Pyramid) and a pair matching game. It also had hidden objects scenes that aren't too horrible. I'll agree with the other reviews on these points: - The game can be completed in an hour. This is at least 5 times shorter than the minimum acceptable playtime for a $10 game. - Zero challenge. The only time I ran out of cards was in the final stage of the boss fight ("the" boss fight-- contrary to what the game description, there's only one villain. Which you fight with just regular solitaire games. Uh.) I had to redo it another time and ran out of cards again, then it conveniently allowed me to skip the level (without telling me the button would actually make me skip it.) Other things I feel like I add to add: - I like that it's set in a modern setting. Most casual games add a fantasy element to their game. Well, there's a fantasy element here, I just don't know where it's going. - Pair matching is pretty boring. - Unlimited undos, I suppose..? Haven't tried. Boring, anyway! - The soundtrack is absolutely fantastic. But it's entirely made of assets purchased from a third-party company without any regard for their integration into the game. So you actually have an Asian track in the game that would make more sense in a Mahjongg Solitaire game. Lazy! - Hidden object scenes also have no challenge-- unlimited hints, unlimited clicks, no real difficulty in finding objects. - What the hell is it with that story..? It doesn't have a proper ending. It feels like chapter 1 of a longer game... - And frankly, the most annoying thing of all: the cards are terribly made. For a game that mostly relies on playing cards, having card values shown in an unreadable gothic font is a fatal sin. Thus my final opinion is, get this through a cheap trade (the game was bundled earlier), do NOT spend $10 on it, it's not even worth a buck IMO...

Casual solitaire/hidden object games aren't the most interesting or challenging genre out there, but even by those standards, Solitaire Mystery: Stolen Power is pretty dull. Since solitaire is mainly a game of chance, many solitaire games add power-ups or some kind of leveling system to add a bit of strategy and a sense of progression, but instead this game goes with straight up card fixing. This wouldn't be as annoying if it weren't so obvious, but when you get a card you need every three draws like clockwork, it's pretty clear that the draws aren't random. As a solitaire lover this game is pretty horrible for many reasons. Here is just a few; * absolutly no challenge at all (you never run out of cards in the deck) * the soundtrack does not do the game justice-just horrible music that adds no atmosphere to the gameplay * I finished the game in under an hour so the price is ridiculous. Thankfully I bought it in a package of other games * Artwork is poor at best, the only good artwork is the cover art for the game. Just avoid this game solitaire lovers. It was the only time I was wishing so bad for a game to be over and thankfully it only took less than an hour out of my life!

Solitaire Mystery is a Hybrid Solitaire/Hidden Object game. Quite entertaining, but super short. The game does have an endless mode that you can play when you complete the game. Nice graphics, story is ok, and the music will do. 10/10.

Super easy blend of Solitaire and Hidden Object game, this game works HARD at letting you win. Two kinds of solitaire, Klondike and a Mahjong based game. Very standard hidden objects scenes that are the game's weakest point as the graphics aren't exactly pristine, although overall the game is very nice looking. When done with the main game you may do endless playing, for more relaxed fun. Five very easy achievements in under two hours (and I had a lunch break between sections. xD ) You should strongly consider buying it; it's on sale right now at $1.32, a 81% discount. And if easy cheevs, solitaire, or HOGs aren't your cup of tea, you should get this game for the music alone! One of the loveliest background soundtracks I've encountered. There are less than five different songs, but it is a testament to how beautiful and unobtrusive they are as you do not mind the repetition at all. They range from a Japanese inspired track with an Andes influenced flute, a Moroccan with World music blend track, to something that would fit right into a Harry Potter's movie track. Just great.
