About
Created and written by lifelong fans of Pen & Paper RPGs, comes Solasta: Crown of the Magister.
Roll for initiative, take attacks of opportunity, manage player location and the verticality of the battle field. Set yourself up for the finishing strike and possibly roll a natural 20 at that key moment of battle.
In Solasta, you take control of four heroes, each with unique skills that complement one another. Every hero expresses themselves in the adventure, making each action and dialog choice a dynamic part to the story. Players will create their heroes just as they would in a pen-and-paper game by choosing their race, class, personality and rolling for their stats.
You make the choices, dice decide your destiny.
An Epic Team Adventure
Discover the shattered world of Solasta: explore ruins and dungeons for legendary treasures, learn the truth of an age-old cataclysm - and stop it from happening again.
Create your very own party of adventurers with our Character Creation Tool in the classic tabletop RPG tradition. Breathe life into your heroes, and see their personalities reflected in their dialogue. Tailor your squad to your preferred strategy and maximize your party's abilities. The choice is yours.
Discover a Mysterious & Dynamic World
Delve into long forgotten dungeons to unearth ancient artifacts, but stay watchful of light and darkness: many dangers hide in the dark, but a light can attract monsters. Some enemies have darkvision, some may flee from your torch... Successful adventurers will learn to use it to their advantage.
Fight monsters in squad-level, turn-based, tactical combat. Solasta's dynamic environment offers some interesting tactical options. Bridges can collapse, leaving enemies stranded and vulnerable. Walls and columns can be pushed over - on top of your foes, if you do it right. The world is your playground.
Prepare to Think in Three Dimensions
The dungeons in Solasta are more than flat game-boards. Climb, jump, or fly around obstacles. Evade or surprise foes from above or below. Push them into chasms or drop things on their heads. Position yourself on high grounds to start the fight with an advantage.
Size also matters. Escape through narrow passages where bigger enemies won't fit and crawl through tunnels to find secret areas. Take advantage of the environment to find cover suited to your own size. Watch out, though - the monsters are also thinking vertically.
Dungeon Maker
In Solasta, the adventure does not stop after the campaign is over. Unleash your creativity and craft your own dungeons to play and share with friends with the snap of a finger using the in-game Dungeon Maker! From the room layout, monster composition and treasure the party will find – down to the decoration and lighting of each room or the music track playing – everything is decided by you.

P*tain l'ennui mortel.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Excellent game, great mechanics. Acting needs work, badly.
Game crashes for no reason. As of this review I have counted 20 times.
Wręcz ta gra to symulator walki.
It's a pity that BG3 was release roughly at the same time and took all focus on itself. Both brilliant games with a slightly different focus Was struggling with nostalgia after NWN for years and Solasta delivered everything I wanted from dnd game
TLDR
This is like a AA and grid-based version of Baldur's Gate 3, with less polish but a lot of D&D heart.
Some detail
I already played this to completion on Game Pass PC, but I couldn't resist a second playthrough on Steam now that Solasta 2 is in Early Access and I wait for that one to go 1.0. This game actually taught me about D&D rules that then made me enjoy BG3 a lot. In its own right, and coming from someone who is not an expert in D&D, all the mechanics are pretty deep. If you are not familiar with D&D rules (like I was when I first played this), it is true that probably you'll have to google stuff many times to understand how some things work. But, then you'll grow to appreciate how deep the systems go - it just doesn't hold your hand when things get deep, but rewards you for your knowledge in all the dimensions. You start by making your party of 4 amognst the types of classes you'd expect, which have amazing depth in differences of how they play - that in itself can be both dauting or rewarding if you experienced. You can make your characters to excruciating detail in all the aspects, or you can pick characters already made. Then you set out as a fresh group of explorers to a nearby outpost that has gone silent. Immediately you see that the graphics, particularly in the faces/characters, are a bit on the more basic side, but characters still have some charm and personality to them. It has some lore to it, but I appreciate it's not overwhelming right from the start, and you actually can enjoy the story and slowly uncover what's going on as you play and familiarize yourself with all the mechanics. Basically the game loops goes like this: "town" sections where you talk to NPCs and merchants, "mission" sections where you explore the world and face the enemies and discover stuff, and, also "travel" moments, where your party is moving and you need to manage rations and speed of travel: more speed means more risk of being ambush, less speed means probably more rations consumed. All this can be "manipulated" by your party's abilities: it's not difficult to have at least one member that can easily find food along the way, for instance. Lastly on the gameplay loop, the battles themselves happen on a square grid system, with height (kinda like the XCOM games), putting all the D&D rules on top of it - pretty deep stuff and I imagine a lot of skill ceiling for this. During exploration, you can meet NPCs or face some obstacles where your party's other abilities, like base stats or proficiencies (like knowledege in fields such as religion, hunting, history, etc etc etc) can make it so you uncover more information or have more favourable encounters. All this to say that thinking about your party elements in all these dimensions can have an effect on how things go along, though, of course, combat is very important since, well, you won't be able to progress if you are not overcoming your battle encounters. It has some janky moments, but the game also has sliders to control the amount of quicksaves and autosaves you get, so you can make sure you can rollback if something would otherwise made you impossible to succeed. Like I said before, the graphics can be janky with the caracters, but the actual environments are pretty and there's a day/night cycle that's visually appealing and, of course, enemies being in the dark makes it more difficult for you to hit them.
In conclusion
If you're interested in D&D adjacent stuff and/or grid-based, turn-based combat, this is an AA game with a lot of heart that will make you learn about D&D rules, albeit you might need to google many things. It is a bit janky at times, but it has a big heart and keeps getting interesting all the way.
This is the best turn-based D&D game I have played in years. It is fantastic. I got in on sale for only $9. That is a steal for such a great game. It's not perfect. Some of the battles are too difficult at low level. The final battle is a bit frustrating but I still enjoyed the game immensely. The main campaign is a bit simplistic but the rest of the game is so good you don't really notice.
