About
Solarpunk is a survival game in a technologically advanced world of floating islands. Alone or together with 4 friends, you can construct buildings, grow food, craft gadgets and explore distant islands with your own airship.
Use sunlight, wind and water to create an energy system and automate your processes like gathering resources and watering your plants.
Design your dream home base with a wide range of materials and decorations. You’re free to build cozy spaces, add tiny details, and make your island feel just like home.
These buildings were crafted by our amazing community in the demo!

Generate electricity using wind and solar energy. Weather conditions affect how much energy you produce, so you’ll need to plan ahead. Store energy in batteries and use wireless power to keep your base running smoothly.

Play solo or with friends. Everyone has their own inventory, and you can decide whether to build something together or create your own little corner in the sky.

In Solarpunk, you live in symbiosis with animals. There is no exploitation, only coexistence. Pigs, for example, will dig up truffles if treated well. Growing fruits and vegetables is your main source of food. Plant seeds in the ground and harvest them once they’re fully grown.

Automate your tasks using transport drones to gather resources, giving you more time to build and explore your skybound home.

Each player can build their own airship. Use it to travel to surrounding islands and discover new resources.

I was really excited for this game for quite some time. I am a long time survival crafting buff, with a soft spot for cozy aesthetics and a fondness for automation in games. You can tell very early on that the game is half baked. The animations are rigid and robotic, the textures are minimally detailed, and the initial gameplay loop is lacking. This leads quickly into a very grind oriented style of gameplay where you cannibalize the entire first island of resources to build a small shack, and get your first ship (which can not be shared by other players in the multiplayer environment.) Long story short I did not put much time into this game, but that is because it is clear the developers did not either. If the early game suffers from such a lack of diversity and interesting gameplay I can only imagine how it feels to grind to late game and see much of the same. The most well fleshed out part of the game is the decorating aspect, if that is something you are interested in I think there are a wide variety of games that not only do it better, but have that as the primary focus. I will keep my eye on the game and see what sort of attention the devs give to it, maybe in a couple of years it will feel more satisfying to play.

Ive been playing with my partner...and the game is fun....but oh god its so buggy i had to double check to see if it was marked in early access. The fact its not and a full game surprised me. I cant recommend the game in its current state and it transform it from a cozy experience that its trying to market itself as, to just pure frustration.
finally got a refund for this game so im making a review now this game is slow, clunky, has needlessly grindy mechanics and thats allready in the first minutes it doesnt feel like a finished product at all especially with all the many tabs you have to open, and unclear tutorials wouldnt recommend it for 22 bucks, let alone like 8
Sehr entspannendes Farming-Automation-Game das perfekt für Zwischendurch oder nach einem harten Arbeitstag ist. Hoffe da kommt noch viel mehr Content, ich sehe sehr großes Potential in diesem Game! Absolute Weiterempfehlung!
This is somehow less grindy than the already minimal grind game that is Planet Crafter. It's extremely chill and roughly offers around 15 hours of gameplay but you can probably spend more time just making a house or decorating the one you have. It sounds and looks great and runs pretty good too. I liked it a lot honestly,
I’m so sad. I have been excited for this game since it got announced and excited to play it ever since all the way up to release. I enjoyed the first 2 hours or so of gameplay but I quickly realized I wasn’t enjoying it whatsoever. It’s basically a grinding simulator without any motivation other than unlocking new things to grind over. Now don’t get me wrong, I am the target audience for this kind of game any day of the week but for some reason this game fell short for me. It’s boring. There is no real goals, no real motivation to keep going and unlike many other building games, I quickly decided there was no no point to it, there was nothing really new or experimental being done in the game.. it was just the exact same thing as always. I’m very sad to have to give this a negative review and if I could I would have refunded it but alas, it wasn’t the game I was looking forward to
The problem starts right with the tutorial. A tutorial is supposed to explain how to play the game, not just blindly dictate: "Build X, build Y, build Z." It should say something like: "Open the build menu with the [F] key." Even better, of course, would be dynamic keybinding variables—so if you remap the [F] key, the text updates automatically. That’s completely missing here, which already shows how poorly designed this tutorial is. Other than that, the whole thing feels way too cozy to me—too cozy, too simplistic. It might gain some depth down the line, but at its core, it’s honestly just pretty boring. So unfortunately, I have to say it’s not worth the money for me. Sure, that's personal preference, I admit. But speaking as a game tester: when I notice the tutorial is already lacking, I get immediately skeptical about whether they managed to get the rest of the game right. That sends up red flags for me right away.
不好玩,很枯燥,一直在重复劳动,3个小时一直在造镐子和挖矿
Not much to do, aircraft crashes to easily
