About
In Sol Cesto, your goal is to descend through the levels of a randomly generated underground world, diving ever deeper in search of the sun, lost for countless years. On the combat grid, choose one of four rows to move into. You'll then land randomly on one of the four tiles in that row: will it be a monster that harms you? A chest full of gold? Or perhaps a deadly poison trap? Anything can happen…
It’s up to you to weigh the risks of each tile as you clear the screen. Of course, your character will grow stronger, and magical items, special powers, and sinister curses will help you bend the odds in your favor and keep fate on your side.
5 biomes to explore, each hiding monsters and traps with unique behaviors
7 characters with distinct powers, stats, and abilities
Stone teeth that change the game’s rules and probabilities to tip the scales in your favor
Metal teeth that trigger devastating curses and combos
A wide range of items to eliminate enemies or escape dangerous situations
The strange underground inhabitants, some of whom may share their secrets with you
And many more surprises…

Very enjoyable game
Orgasmo visual pero te dan ganas de quitarte los ojos al perder por caer en una casilla en la que tenias 5% de chance de caer
Great indie roguelike, highly recommended! Don't get fooled by the "change mechanic", a great deal of skill is necessary to win a run. Was able to complete the story and unlock all achievements in 30 hours, which is a perfect amount of time and a great deal for the price!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great game. Got addicted to it and 100% it in 22 hours. You will overestimate your luck and you will rage quit on the final boss when you lose to a weird looking blue angel.
That's what I call a perfect indie game: no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, just good game mechanics! Nice work. For those who are still hesitating: stop, give them your money and enjoy it, you will thank me later.
Gambling, Goblins, and Golden Grillz. Sol Cesto scratches that same risk-taking "I'll play those odds" itch Balatro does, with a lively and indisputably unique hand-brushed art style, and a soundscape that sells the world just as much as the visual art does. The core gameplay loop is addicting and your actions feel tactile and impactful, regardless of whether they were successful or a total failure of an attempt. Progression is not gatekept behind hours and hours of dying to bad runs which is very refreshing in the roguelike genre, as even the worst runs will provide opportunities to progress the world's permanent upgrade tree. Sol Cesto is an easy recommendation to any fan of roguelikes, deck builders, or dungeon crawlers, and is well worth a purchase at its price point.
Sol Cesto is a delightfully surreal rogue-lite that does a lot with a fairly simple idea. It's a cute little board game where you take a gamble each time you choose a row of the screen to explore. Like any good roguelike, it keeps adding rules and the simple idea gets increasingly complicated. There's plenty of characters allowing you to explore the game with a variety of gimmick powers. I've become somewhat picky when it comes to rogue-lite games; it frustrates me how long it can take to unlock everything, as I often feel like I'm not truly playing the full game until I've unlocked all the mechanics. I think this game does the meta-progression thing fairly well, however, and I can definitely recommend it.
