Sokobos 2

Really fun little puzzle game, simple concept but super satisfying once you figure things out. The cart mechanic adds a cool twist I didn’t expect, and some levels are tough but satisfying to figure out. If you like pushing your brain a bit, it’s really worth it!

I'm really enjoying the puzzle design here, the mechanics are introduced bit by bit, increasing in difficulty as you progress. The controls are very satisfying, there's good feedback when moving the character around and the undo/restart system encourages you to retry levels without feeling like a bad move will shoot you in the foot in the long term. One very good aspect of the game is that while the puzzles are challenging, they don't take a million moves to complete, which I consider a very important aspect of sokoban design.

Really solid Sokoban so far. There are quite a bit of mechanics such as a movable cart where you need to put the vases (the goal for beating a level), rivers, stones, bombs, gates and I'm sure more. The mechanics are taught one at a time and in an increasing difficulty, so you can always use previous knowledge to complete levels. There is also an overarching dark humor storyline that I'm looking forward to see unfold. Another high-quality puzzle game from Martin Games (formerly known as Daisy Games)!

i always thought sokobans need more murdering of innocent people

Daisy Games (ahem - @martingamesdev now), have returned to their roots with Sokobos 2. Brilliant tutorial system & difficulty curve and I love having multiple puzzle paths. Features all the usual; ice, bombs, gates & a new gimmick that lets you move the "storage," not just the "box," adding yet another layer of complexity. Great difficulty curve & options. Great game.
