Fun and addictive puzzle game. Worth the price!
A really satisfying little puzzle game! I think the way the demo was made is really creative, too!
I've played other merge games before, but I've always bounced off of them pretty quickly. But sobosuba is different. It's just so satisfying to play! I love how much freedom you're given to make the shot you want to make. And it's just such a good feeling when your stack is filling up and you think you might be nearing the end of the run, only to have a sobo start a chain reaction and suddenly you've got lots of space to work with. And I actually kinda like the font. 😋

Tickles the brain just right
Only one mode (for now?) yet it manages to make other 'suika-like' games feel like they have no depth. The jelly-like pieces add a huge amount of tech and strategies. Is the perfect spot for your throw covered by another 'sobo'? Throw hard at the seam between two sobos and you can slip right through. Is the sobo you want on the wrong side of the board? Throw at it just right and launch it across the field. Throw wrong and there's worse things than a single sobo in the wrong spot, you may end up with your whole board flipping upside down as the heavy sobos move to the top. The 'next pieces queue' uses physics too, if you keep throwing quickly or throw in the right direction then you can spawn two new pieces instead of one. Sobos can merge in the queue or sit on top of the queue, so you can keep a juggling game going until you get the perfect piece. It's way better than just a simple 'hold' button like most falling block/blob games.
the doctor playing suika game with my bowels
Unironically the sound design is better than the actual game. Holy crap, the feedback when you merge the blobs, especially when you get a chain going, triggers the funny caveman brain unlike any other game. That doesn't mean the gameplay itself is bad or anything, far from it. The softbody physics on the blobs adds an extra layer of strategy of how much energy you put into your shots and can lead to unexpected outcomes which keeps you from getting bored. No unnecessary bells and whistles, you just get what you pay for which I respect. 7/10
Relaxing, cozy, satisfyingly squishy, with a seemingly high skill ceiling for this type of game. Strongly recommend!
This game is extremely satisfying, it feels like if you mixed coolmathgames.com with crack cocaine. It looks simple but it has surprising depth to strategy without being overly complicated. It's not over developed, it just has nice UI colours unlocks via achievements and a global leaderboard. That's it, and that's all it needs. It's perfect.
very nice reinterpretation of 2048, but needs a mobile version asap.
