Boss of the Mafia is an asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" ripped off the basic Unreal platformer template, stole someone's low quality "mafia" assets, and dumped the barely working trash onto Steam as a cash grab. Little to no actual game development took place here. It's more or less exactly the same game as "Bear Adventure" from the same loveable Russian asset flippers, only with a different skin. Quarlellle have shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. Bewilderingly, the game doesn't include proper audio controls, so you can't turn off the annoying background music, you'll need to alt+tab out and stop the music using the Windows sound mixer. This is obviously not okay and it's unclear why the developers chose not to include this basic feature. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. But then this was never intended to be a serious game... it's just a cash grab. The poor quality of this game is reflected in the general public reception. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 2 players. That's right, only 2. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in the game is to be expected. Gamers just didn't take this low quality game seriously, and for good reason. Bear Adventure is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price and the unethical nature of the developer, this is impossible to recommend.

This game is worse than I expected and my expectations were very, very low. You'll notice my ridiculously-short playtime; it's so short because the game is basically unplayable due to the issues listed below. Pro: + Good music (slow jazz) Con: - Poor movement control - Little to no in-air movement control - Cannot control jump height - Character is very "floaty" (as if low gravity) - Character cannot jump up through a platform, but will clip down through a platform if the character is "close" to a ceiling while the platform is rising - Very poor colliders resulting in game-over when the character is close to, but not touching, an obstacle (bullet, spike, etc) and resulting in the character clipping down through a platform when NOT close to touching a ceiling - Very limited downward (below character) view, making it impossible to see where it is safe to jump - No instructions, no mention of how to control character, etc (arrow keys and WASD+space both seem to work) - No options (not even music on/off or volume) - No ability to save (main menu selections are only "New Game" and "Quit" and game-over menu selections are only "Try Again", "Main Menu", and "Quit")

mi ha cambiato la vita, appena ho posato i miei occhi su codesto gioco non ebbi la forza di rinunciare a prenderlo, capì subito cosa fossa l'amore a prima vista, mi sentì dentro una fiaba che si racconta ai bambini prima di andare a nanna. Mi ha cambiato sì in meglio, mi ha motivato ad andare avanti in un periodo buio totale della mia vita. Alla ricerca di quelle maledette chiavi mi ha fatto capire chi e cosa voglio essere da grande. 이 게임을 사려고 하는 모든 한국인에게 전하고 싶어서 전합니다. 생각보다 재밌지만 생각보다 어렵고, 죽을때마다 리스폰 버튼이 나오는데 바로 밑에 메인메뉴 버튼이 있습니다 저는 한 시간 동안 스테이지 5 정도까지 갔었는데 실수로 메인메뉴 버튼을 눌렀더니 메인메뉴에는 뉴 게임밖에 없었습니다. 지금 리뷰 보니까 전세계에서 한명 했던데 제가 제일 플레이 많이 했습니다. 그냥 이거 하려는 분은 방송 목적이 아니라면 그냥 피자 시킬때 갈릭 디핑소스 2개 더 시키는게 이득입니다. 심지어 이게임보다 갈릭 디핑소스 2개 추가하는게 100원 더 쌉니다. 저는 경고 했습니다. 그래도 하는 동안은 재밌었어요
